Monteverde, a freshman from Pittsburgh, Pa., has made a splash at Virginia Wesleyan in his first season on the hill for the Marlins. He picked up his first collegiate complete game in a 13-0 win over Eastern Mennonite, pairing it with his first shutout. Monteverde gave up just three hits and retired stretches of five, eight, and six straight batters scattered around those hits and two walks. He fanned eight batters, including the final two hitters of the game. For the season, Monteverde is 1-1 with a 1.19 earned run average and 21 strikeouts in 22.2 innings.

Brown, a senior from Midlothian, Va., posted a trio of multi-hit games in three wins for Randolph-Macon. Brown started with a 3-for-5 day with three runs scored, a double, a run driven in and a walk in a 13-1 win at St. Mary's (Md.). He then went 5-for-8 in a doubleheader sweep of Emory & Henry. He had two hits with three RBI, a runs scored, and a walk in a 13-2 win in game one. He was 3-for-4 with a double, triple, two RBI, and a run scored in a 9-2 win in game two. Brown finished the week with a .615/.667/.923 slash line. For the season, Brown is hitting .373 with a .450 on-base percentage and a .549 slugging percentage.

Freed, a junior from Alexandria, Va., started off her spring season with a third place finish at the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate. She posted rounds of 75 and 74 on the way to a 5-over par 149. She bested five of the top-11 golfers in NCAA Division III, including the #1 ranked golfer at the time of the tournament. Freed's efforts helped Washington and Lee finish sixth out of 16 teams at 645 following team rounds of 321 and 324.

Peccie, a freshman from Norfolk, Va., started off the spring campaign by tying for medalist honors at the Callaway Gardens Intercollegiate. He posted rounds of 75 and 70 on the way to a 1-over 145. He bested 14 of the top-20 golfers in NCAA Division III along the way, including those ranked first, third, fifth, and sixth at the top of the tournament. Washington and Lee placed sixth as a team with a two-round 603 (301-302). Thru seven rounds this year, Peccie owns a 74.7 average.

Lightfoot, a junior from Fairfax, Va., put together a 15-point week powered by 13 assists in Randolph-Macon's two non-conference victories. Lightfoot opened with seven assists and a ground ball in the Yellow Jackets' 11-7 win over nationally 19th-ranked St. Mary's (Md.). She then scored twice and handed out six more assists in R-MC's 14-1 triumph at Goucher. She added a ground ball and a caused turnover in that contest. For the season, Lightfoot is second in the ODAC with 20 points and leads the league with 17 assists.

LaTona, a senior from Ellicott City, Md., put together an 11-point week in helping Shenandoah to a pair of victories. He opened with six goals and an assist in a 19-11 win over non-conference Alfred University. He also picked up two ground balls and scored his six goals on six shots on goal. LaTona then posted four goals and three ground balls in an 11-6 win at Randolph, which marked the Hornets first ODAC win since the 2014 season. For the year, LaTona is third in the ODAC with 27 points thanks to a league-best 24 goals scored.

Hull, a freshman from Chesterfield, Va., continues to shine amongst some of the nation's best competition. The reigning two-time national pitcher of the week added another to her built with a no-hitter in a 4-0 shutout of William Peace. She faced just one batter over the minimum as she set down the first 19 batters before issuing a free pass with one out in the seventh inning. She struck out 15 batters for the game, marking her third double figure punchout game of the season. Hull upped that total by one with 12 strikeouts in a 4-3 extra innings loss to nationally 10th-ranked Christopher Newport. All four runs were unearned, coming on five hits with one walk as she went the distance for a second time. Hull got her win over CNU in game two, shutting the door of 2.2 scoreless and hitless frames in a 10-8 victory for sixth-ranked VWC. She walked three and struck out three. For the season, Hull leads the ODAC in wins (8-1), earned run average (0.27), innings pitched (52.0), strikeouts (90), and shutouts (4). Opponents are batting just .126 against her.

Foltz, a senior from Broadway, Va., put together a trio of multi-hit games in helping Eastern Mennonite to six wins and move to 8-0 to start the season. Foltz went 7-for-17 overall with three doubles, four runs driven in, nine runs scored, six walks, and a stolen base. She had two hits and two runs scored in a 5-2 win over Gwynedd Mercy, and followed with two more knocks including a double with two RBI, a runs scored, and a walk in a 10-4 triumph over Eureka. She had a single and double with two walks, three runs scored, and a RBI in a 9-3 victory over King's (Pa.). Foltz also took care of her position, making just one error in 17 chances at the hot corner. For the season, Foltz is hitting .400 with a .516 on-base percentage and a .520 slugging percentage.

Delmas, a senior from Asheville, N.C., helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a pair of ODAC victories last week by going 4-0 combined at #1 singles and #1 doubles. In a 9-0 team win over Guilford, Delmas won 2-6, 6-0, 10-7 in singles play over Katie Claggett. She and partner Toni McDonald topped Claggett and Leigh Fishman, 8-1, in doubles action. Delmas again won both competitions in a 9-0 win over Hollins. She won 6-0, 6-0 over Jhovanna Salmeron in the singles match, and teamed with McDonald to defeat Salmeron and Htet Myat San in doubles, 8-2. Delmas and McDonald are 5-1 on the season as a doubles team.

Martorell, a junior from Wimberley, Texas, came up big for Guilford in the Quakers' 5-4 win over Randolph-Macon. Martorell and partner Jon-Anthony Thomas, who don't regularly play together, teamed up for an 8-6 win over Grant Sarver and Baxter Carter at #1 doubles. Martorell then proved the deciding factor in Guilford's one-point win as he defeated Jacob Haines, 6-3, 6-4 at #1 singles, to claim the match's final point.
