Selby, a junior from Chesapeake, Va., had the strikeout pitch working in a 10-5 victory at Washington and Lee as he set down a new career-high and ODAC season-high 14 Generals in a full seven innings of work. He gave up two runs (one earned) and scattered seven hits while walking a pair. After giving up two runs in the first inning, Selby settled down to retire the next five straight with four coming via strikeout. He fanned at least one batter each inning, striking out the side in both the fourth and fifth innings. The outing marked his seven 10-plus punchout game of the season. Selby is now 5-1 on the season with a 2.81 earned run average in 41.2 innings of work. He's struck out a league-best 61 batters.

Duphorn, a sophomore from Erial, N.J., was a constant threat on base for the Yellow Jackets as he worked his way onto the basepaths 16 times over the course of four games including three ODAC wins and a non-conference tie. Duphorn, Randolph-Macon's leadoff hitter, registered a .533/.696/.533 slash line powered by 8-of-15 from plate with five runs scored, three runs driven in, eight walks, and a pair of stolen bases. He reached base at least three times each game. Duphorn was a combined 3-for-6 with five walks, two stolen bases, and two runs scored in the Yellow Jackets sweep of Washington and Lee, 10-5 and 8-1. He drove in two runs and scored three times as part of a 3-for-5 day that included two walks in an 18-18 lock with York (Pa.). He was also 2-for-4 with a walk in a 4-2 victory over Hampden-Sydney. For the season, Duphorn is hitting .397 (27-for-68) with four doubles and 10 RBI. He leads the league in walks (24), helping him to the second-best on-base percentage (.559) and third-most runs (26). His 10 stolen bases are third in the conference.

Hill, a junior from Superior, Colo., picked up his second collegaite medalist title after winning the West Cup and helping Guilford to the team title last week. It is the first time a team from the East Coast has won the West Cup. Hill finished one stroke better than Cade Lawson from Redlands and Slate Sivage from California Lutheran after three rounds on the par-71 layout set to 6,403 yards at the Sierra La Verne Country Club. The field off 85 men featured 18 of the top-100 players in Golfstat's Division III rankings. Hill opened with an even par 71 before posting a 3-over 74 in round two. He recovered for a second 71 in the final round, making his 35th par for the tournament on the 54th hole to wrap up the victory. For Guilford, the 891 (299-301-297) finish atop the leaderboard marked the squad's fourth win of the season. They are currently ranked #5 in the country by the Bushnell/Golfweek Division III Coaches Poll. Hill is second in the ODAC with a 73.1 per round average.

Hall, a senior from State Road, N.C., put her best foot forward of the spring at the competitive UC-Santa Cruz Spring Invitational last week, finishing as the runner-up and helping Washington and Lee to second of nine teams. Hall carded an opening round 78 on the par-72 layout set to 5,830 yards at the Pacific Grove Golf Links. That put her six shots back of leader Kayle Hunn from nationally top-ranked George Fox University. Hall picked up four strokes on Hunn with a second round 74, leaving her as runner up to Hunn by two strokes at 8-over par 152. The Generals, ranked 11th by Golfstat, finished 10 shots back for GFU in second place at 50-over 626 (315-311). Hall is second in the ODAC with a 76.8 per round average.

Davies, a junior from Ambler, Pa., combined for 35 saves in a pair of wins for nationally 18th-ranked Roanoke, including a top-20 matchup. Davies opened with 16 saves in the Maroons 9-8 victory over nationally 15th-ranked Christopher Newport. He registered 10 of his saves in the second half as Roanoke outscored CNU, 6-3, to erase a 5-3 halftime deficit. Davies was back in front of net in the Maroons 13-11 triumph over Lynchburg. He registered 19 saves for the contest, including seven in the a second quarter in which RC outscored LC, 5-1. He also came away with eight second-half stops, including five in the final frame. For the season, Davies leads the ODAC in both saves (135) and save percentage (.587).

Hwang, a senior from Garland, Texas, put together a 4-0 week from the top flight in a pair of key ODAC victories for Shenandoah. The Hornets moved to 2-2 on the season in league play with a 5-1 win over Roanoke and a 9-0 victory over Emory & Henry. Hwang and doubles partner Darian Diaz picked up a tight 9-8 (7-4) decision at #1 doubles against RC. Hwang followed with a come-from-behind 0-6, 6-0, 7-5 triumph at #1 singles to help lock-up the team victory. The duo of Hwang and Diaz were back at it against E&H with an 8-0 win from the top ladder position. Hwang followed up with a 6-0, 6-1, victory at #1 singles. Hwang is now 4-3 on the season and 4-2 at #1 singles. He's now 2-2 in league play. He and Diaz improve to 2-1 at #1 doubles, each match coming against ODAC foes.

Amoateng, a junior from Bristow, Va., competed in four events at the Montreat College Invitational and placed his name back atop the ODAC long and triple jump season charts. Amoateng won the triple jump at 14.08 meters (46-2.50), which ranks ninth in NCAA Division III. He added a third place showing in the long jump at 6.79 meters (22-3.50), which stands 18th in the country. Amoateng also took a two turns on the track, placing 20th in the 100-meter dash in 11.50 seconds and helping EMU to sixth in the 4x100-meter relay at 43.30 seconds.

Norfleet, a sophomore from Norfolk, Va., blistered in three events on the track at the Blue & Silver Challenge hosted by Christopher Newport University. Norfleet won the 200-meter dash in 21.80 seconds, which ranks #1 in the ODAC and 12th in NCAA Division III. He finished second overall in the 100-meter dash in 11.02 seconds, which is third in the ODAC and 49th in the country. Norfleet then took his turn in the 4x100-meter relay, helping the Marlins to the top spot in the ODAC with a new school-record time of 41.67 seconds. That mark is currently slotted second in Division III.

Briggs, a junior from Marion, Va., picks up her second straight weekly honor after continuing her strong outdoor season at the Fredy Hardy Invitational hosted by the University of Richmond. Briggs set the Roanoke record and came up just 0.03 meters show of tying the ODAC standard in the high jump by clearing 1.70 meters (5-7.00). That mark is currently second in NCAA Division III and again just 0.03 meters off the #1 position held by Emma Egan from Williams College.

Deacon, a grad student from West Chester, Pa., picks up her second straight weekly award after excelling in the 1,500-meter run at the Raleigh Relays over the weekend. Deacon was the second NCAA Division III competitor to finish the race at the largely Division I meet, placing 43rd overall in 4:32.69. That time tops the ODAC ranks and currently sits fourth in the country. With a few weeks left in the regular season, Deacon leads the ODAC in both mid-distance events, ranking third nationally in the 800-meter (2:11.78) in addition to her 1,500-meter standing.

Hull, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Va., picked five victories to go with a save in 26.1 innings in the circle. She struck out 42 batters to bring her ODAC-leading total to 166. Her efforts last week included registering her 500th career strikeout. Hull opened with a complete game 2-1 win over DePauw. She gave up one unearned run on seven hits without a walk and seven strikeouts. She came back in game two of that series, earning a save with one inning on the rubber to lock up a 12-9 win. Hull started and won both ends of a doubleheader sweep of Eastern Mennonite. She worked the first 4.0 innings of an 8-0 win in game one, giving up two hits without a walk and striking out five. She set down 10 batters in game two, also an 8-0 victory. She surrendered two hits and again did not walk a batter. Hull earned victories in both games of a sweep at Roanoke, although she only started game one. In that contest, she went the full 7.0 frames on the way to a 1-0 shutout. She allowed three hits and walked her only batter of the week while fanning 16. The strikeout total is one off her season-high and her ninth 10-plus strikeout appearance of the season. Hull capped her week with 2.1 innings of relief for a 3-1 win in game two. She did not allow a hit and struck out three more batters. Her weekly line came to one unearned run on 15 hits with one walk and 42 strikeouts in 26.1 innings of work. For the season, Hull is 17-0 with a 0.53 earned run average in 105.1 innings of work. She has fanned 166 and walked just 21 batters. Opponents are hitting .120 against her.

Glaubke, a sophomore from Virginia Beach, Va., registered at least one hit in each of six Virginia Wesleyan victories last week, extending her hitting streak to 12 straight games and furthering the nationally top-ranked Marlins unbeaten run to 26-0 this season and 32-0 dating back to last season. Glaubke went 9-for-19 with two doubles, a triple, homer, five runs driven in, six runs scored, and three walks to help her to a .474/.545/.842 slash line. She was 2-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI, a run scored, and a stolen base in a 12-9 victory in game two of a sweep of DePauw. She was 4-for-6 with a homer, two RBI, three runs scored, and a walk in a pair of 8-0 victories over Eastern Mennonite. She capped her week going 3-for-5 with two walks and a run scored in 1-0 and 3-1 wins at Roanoke. For the season, Glaubke is hitting .387 (29-for-75) with six doubles, three homers, and 21 RBI. She is second in the league in walks (18), fourth in runs scored (28), and sixth in on-base percentage (.500).

Trevisan, a sophomore from West Chester, Pa., delivered an 11-point week to help the Hornets to a pair of victories including a key ODAC tilt. Trevisan opened her week with five goals and two assists in a 16-8 non-conference win over Wellesley. She added a ground ball and a draw control to her line. Then she came up with three goals and an assist in a 15-12 ODAC road win at Roanoke. The victory moved Roanoke to 2-0 in ODAC play right behind Washington and Lee at 3-0. Trevisan has racked up 25 points on 18 goals and seven assists this season.

Harris, a sophomore from Falls Church, Va., continues to roll thru the spring season unbeaten in singles matches, helping Lynchburg to its best start at 8-3 overall and 4-0 in ODAC play with a five-match winning streak. Harris won at both #1 singles and #1 doubles in the Hornets 7-2 team win over Bridgewater. She and Sarah Wyly posted an 8-2 win in doubles action, while Harris picked up a 6-1, 6-2, triumph in singles play. For the season, Harris is 10-0 at #1 singles and 9-2 in all doubles matches with three different partners.
