MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
DJ Hill | Eastern Mennonite | Jr. | Forward
Hill, a junior from Woodbridge, Va., put together arguably the most productive week of his collegiate career as Eastern Mennonite went 1-1 against ODAC competition. Hill exploded for a career-best 31 points to go with nine rebounds in an 80-79 win at Shenandoah. He was 13-of-15 from the field (86.7%) and made each of five foul shots. He added two assists, a blocked shot, and a steal to his line. On the weekend in a 62-56 setback to Randolph, Hill registered 13 points and paired that with a second nine-rebound effort. He chipped in two assists and two blocked shots. For the season, Hill is averaging 12.9 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, the latter ranking seventh in the ODAC. He is second in the league in minutes played (32.7) and fourth in field goal shooting (55.9% | 57-of-102).
