FOREST, Va. --- Week 19 features two days of reporting with indoor track & field competing for the first time in 2022. Those earning ODAC Athlete of the Week awards for Monday, January 10, include (pictured from left): Lindsay Gauldin from Guilford women's basketball and Tim Jones from Eastern Mennonite men's basketball.
Below are entries for each of the winners from today's release. Most weeks this winter, the following schedule will be used for awards reporting:
- Mondays: basketball, swimming
- Tuesdays: indoor track & field (returns 1/11/22)

MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tim Jones | Eastern Mennonite | Gr. | Point Guard
Jones, a graduate student from Forestville, Md., put together a big week in leading Eastern Mennonite to a pair of ODAC victories last week. Jones averaging 25.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 2.5 steals over the two outings, which included a new career-high 32 points in a 91-83 triumph over Washington and Lee. In that contest, he was 6-of-8 from three-point range and went 6-of-6 from the foul line. He finished 10-of-24 from the field and added nine rebounds, six assists, and two steals. Jones again filled the stat sheets in a 79-72 road win at Randolph College. He was 7-of-12 from the field on the way to 19 points. He chipped in four rebounds, six assists, and three steals to help the Royals improve to 3-1 in league play and 5-6 overall. For the season, Jones is averaging 15.8 points per game and 4.1 rebounds per contest. He leads the ODAC in assists (73) and is fourth in free throws made (43-of-68).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lindsay Gauldin | Guilford | Sr. | Guard
Gauldin, a senior from Stokesdale, N.C., led Guilford to its first ODAC win of the season in their 2022 opener against Eastern Mennonite. Gauldin went 6-of-14 from the field and made seven foul shots on the way to 20 points in the Quakers 67-62 triumph in Ragan-Brown Fieldhouse. She stuffed the stat sheet with nine rebounds -- including three via the offensive glass -- along with five assists and four steals. For the season, Gauldin is leading the ODAC in scoring (21.3 ppg) and free throws made (51-of-67). She is sixth in total points scored (149) and ninth in free throw shooting (76.1%). She is averaging 5.7 boards per contest as well.
