The Notre Dame offense would extend their lead to open the second half as Peddicord would knock in two goals with Frederick adding one over the first seven minutes of the second frame.  Hollins would muster two more goals in the middle of the half, but Butto, Peddicord and Olson would each find the net to give the Gators the 14-6 season opening win.

The team will now look to start Colonial States Athletic Conference play on Wednesday as they will visit Immaculata University on Wednesday.
