• The Short Story: The fifth-ranked Johns Hopkins men's soccer team shut out host Bridgewater, 2-0, behind a pair of second-half goals.
 
How it Happened
• Hopkins controlled the play throughout the game but it took until the 60^th minute for the Blue Jays to get on the scoreboard. Senior Achim Younker found junior RJ Moore open in the box and he fired a shot past Eagles' keeper Colin Rouaud to put JHU up 1-0.
• JHU put some distance between itself and Bridgewater with an insurance goal in the 79^th minute. Younker slotted a pass across the box to senior Liam Moylan, who was wide open for the score.
 
What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 4-0-0 all-time against Bridgewater in the first meeting between the two since 2008.
• The Blue Jays are 5-1-0 for the second straight season.
 
Inside the Box Score
• Junior Xander LeFevre finished with a pair of saves in earning his second shutout of the season. It is also the eighth shutout of this career. Rouaud made eight saves in the loss for the Eagles.
