The Lead: The Roanoke College Men's Soccer team picked up a key point on the road at Virginia Wesleyan on Saturday night.  

How it Happened

• The teams combined for 39 shots with VWC holding a slim 20-19 edge.
• Roanoke keeper Nick Tadros made a career-high 10 saves in the tie while VWC's Jay Fox turned away five shots for the Marlins.
• RC held a 7-2 edge in corner kicks and had its best chance to  end the match in the second overtime when a pair of free kicks by Tim Mahabir just missed the heads of RC attackers,  then a Cole Thornton shot was turned away by Fox in the final minutes of overtime.
