MEN'S BASKETBALL

Reddick, Bridgewater, Sr., Forward
Reddick, a senior from Virginia Beach,
Va., picks up his second straight weekly award after leading
Bridgewater to a 2-1 week. He opened with 28 points on 12-of-14
shooting to go with six boards, three assists and two blocked shots
in a 71-61 win over Averett. The Eagles continued play at the
Daytona Beach Shootout. Reddick recorded a pair of double-doubles,
beginning with 17 points and 10 rebounds in a 73-72 win over
Oneonta State. He added three assists and two steals. In a 58-51
loss to Dubuque, Reddick notched 15 points and 13 rebounds to go
with two blocked shots. He averaged 20 points and 9.7 rebounds for
the week, shooting 57.1-percent (24-of-42) from the field. He was
also 12-of-14 (85.7%) from the line. Reddick currently leads the
ODAC in scoring (19.6 ppg), points (196), field goals made (72) and
free throws made (52). He's second in rebounding (9.7 rpg).

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Nancy Kelly, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr.,
Forward
Kelly, a senior from Phoenix, Md.,
earned all-tournament team recognition after helping the Marlins to
a pair of wins at the St. Thomas Classic in St. Thomas, Virgin
Islands. In Virginia Wesleyan's opening 61-52 over Nichols (Mass.),
Kelly posted career-highs of 21 points and 21 rebounds. The 21
boards set a new ODAC seasonal top mark with 11 of her caroms
coming via the offensive glass. She is just hte third Marlin to
ever record a 20-plus rebound game. She shot 10-of-17 from the
field. In a 67-63 triumph over Emerson (Mass.), Kelly notched 14
points and five board while adding two assists. She was 6-of-9 from
the field. Overall, Kelly averaged 17.5 points and 13.0 rebounds,
shooting 61.5-percent (16-of-26). She's averaging 12.5 points and
6.6 rebounds per game. She leads the ODAC in field goal shooting at
63.2-percent (55-of-87).
