Lightfoot, a junior from Big Island, Va., provided the momentum the Wasps needed to recover from an early 14-0 deficit to post a 27-24 win over NCAA FCS foe East Tennessee State University. Lightfoot made four tackles in the game, but also came away with the game's only turnover. He intercepted a pass at the ETSU 36-yard line to setup good field position for what would become a game-tying drive at 17-all early in the third quarter. Lightfoot broke up another pass during the game and added 17 yards of kick return yardage to his daily output. Lightfoot is now tied atop the ODAC with three interceptions with Bridgewater's Jason Monroe.

Simcox, a freshman from Abingdon, Va., registered nine of the Wasps 27 points and was a key cog in Emory & Henry's come-from-behind victory against NCAA Division I FCS opponent East Tennessee State University. The Wasps' placekicker was not only 3-for-3 on extra points, but he drilled a pair of 48-yard field goals in the third quarter. His first boot -- the longest attempt of his career -- tied the game at 17-all early in the third quarter, while his second kick gave E&H its first lead of the game at 20-17 with 1:55 on the third quarter clock. The 48-yard makes are the third-longest made in ODAC history and are the longest made by an Emory & Henry kicker since Ross McKernan hit a 48-yarder against Randolph-Macon in 2005. Simcox is now 11-for-11 on extra points and 4-of-5 on field goals this season.

Rogerson, a senior from Midlothian, Va., helped the 13th-ranked Hornets to a pair of wins last week. That included Lynchburg's ODAC opener via a 2-1 overtime result at Roanoke. Rogerson scored the game-tying goal late in the first half and in quick response to the Maroons' tally just 28-seconds prior. Rogerson then went on to score twice in a 5-2 win at York College (Pa.). Both her tallies came in the second half as LC recovered from a 1-0 first-half deficit. Rogerson's three goals mark her scores of the season.

Combs, a sophomore from Kennett, Mo., put together a strong showing in the Generals' season debut at the Rhodes Fall Classic, tying for second out of 93 golfers. He fired rounds of 73 and 72 for a 1-over par 145 on the 7,125-yard par-72 layout at Tunica National in Robinson, Miss. Among Combs' efforts was a hole-in-one in the first round on the 156-yard par-3 13th hole. Combs, who competed in just five rounds during his rookie campaign, helped Washington and Lee to a third place showing (300-294--594) out of 17 teams.

Heatherly, a junior from Jacksonville, N.C., put together a seven-point week that included a pair of game-winning goals in the WildCats' 2-0 week. In Randolph's 3-2 win over Hampden-Sydney, Heatherly converted an 81st minute penalty kick to break a 2-2 tie. He followed that by contributing to three of the WildCats' four goals in a 4-2 victory over Bridgewater. He started with an assist on an acrobatic goal by Salvador Ramirez for a 2-0 lead. Then, after BC had notched its first goal, Heatherly tallied a pair of unassisted goals in the 69th and 84th minutes. He then turned defender and a cleared a ball off the line in the 88th minute to help preserve the 4-2 win. Heatherly currently leads the ODAC in points (12) and tied atop the conference in goals scored (5).

Olds, a sophomore from Wilmington, N.C., put together a banner week in helping the fourth-ranked Hornets to a trio of victories. She started with a goal in a 6-0 win at Randolph College. Olds then scored once and dished out an assist in a 5-1 home win over Meredith. She capped her week with her best performance, scoring all three goals in Lynchburg's 3-0 triumph at regionally fifth-ranked Emory University. Olds is currently fourth in the ODAC with 16 points on seven goals and two assists.

Barrett, a junior from Stafford, Va., led VWC to a 3-1 week with 55 kills, 51 digs, nine aces, and a .319 hitting percentage over the four matches. Twice she registered 18 kills, adding 10 digs in a 3-0 setback to Salisbury and 12 digs in a 3-1 win at Shenandoah. She had 14 kills, 13 digs and four aces in a 3-0 win over Hollins, while registering the fouth-best hitting percentage in school history at .722 following just one error in 18 attacks. She finished with five kills, three aces and 16 digs at 5.33 per set in a 3-0 win over Marymount (Va.). Barrett currently leads the ODAC in total kills (219) and is third at 3.65 kills per set.

Mehrer, a freshman from Gillette, Wyo., put together the first meet victory of his career by claiming the individual title at the Hornet Harrier/Commonwealth Challenge. Mehrer posted a six-kilometer time of 19:26.5 to finish first among 73 runners. His efforts helped the Hornets to first out of nine squads in the team standings.

Chappell-Dick, a senior from Bluffton, Ohio, won for the second time this season -- and in consecutive meets -- as she topped the field at the Hornet Harrier/Commonwealth Challenge. She posted a five-kilometer time of 19:24.9, besting second place by nearly 22-seconds. She helped EMU to third in the team standings.
