FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER OF THE WEEK
KENDRA ANDERSON, BRIDGEWATER COLLEGE
Anderson, a sophomore from York, Pa., scored three goals on the week as the Eagles finished the week 2-1. Anderson scored the game's lone goal as the Eagles picked up a big ODAC win over Roanoke, 1-0. She then added two more goals in a 5-1 victory over Randolph-Macon Woman's College.  Anderson now has two goals and two assists on the season for the Eagles.

Kristie Souder, Eastern Mennonite Notched a pair of goals in the second game of a 1-1 week for the Royals
Allie Weir, Lynchburg Scored twice and notched an assist in the Hornets only match of the week, a 3-1 win over F&M
Rachel Greenleaf, R-M Woman's Coll. Tallied a goal in each of the Wildcats games on the week
Amy Volkmann, Washington & Lee Passed out a pair of assists including a game-tying dish against EMU in a 2-1 week for the Generals

GOLFER OF THE WEEK
JOSEPH POPLIN, GUILFORD COLLEGE
Poplin, a senior from Eden, N.C., paced Guilford at the Gordin Collegiate Classic with a second-place individual finish.  He shot a one-under par 141 (68-73) to help the Quakers finish third in the 12-team field, which included 11 of the top 12 teams from the 2006 NCAA Championships.  His three-under par 68 in the October 15th's first round marked the tournament's low round and matched his second-lowest career score. 

Golf Honor Roll
Billy McDonald, Roanoke Won the VSGA Intercollegiate Tournament by three strokes (142) and was the only golfer under par with a first round even-par 72 and then a 70 on the second day.

MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TRAVIS SHORT, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Short, a junior from Rocky Hill, Conn., led the generals to a 2-0 week with a trio of goals.  In a 4-0 win against Emory & Henry, Short score twice to help W&L get past the Wasps.  He notched another goal in the Generals' second 4-0 win on the week, this one over Randolph-Macon.  Short now has four goals and one assist on the season.

Regulo Cardoso, Eastern Mennonite Picked up a goal and an assists in a 0-1-1 week for the Royals
Bryce Hunsucker, Guilford In a 1-2 week for the Quakers, scored twice in a 4-1 win over Roanoke
Greg Smith, Hampden-Sydney Scored once and assisted on another in the Tigers 4-3 loss to Piedmont
Marcus Jordan, Lynchburg Made five saves and picked up a pair of shutouts in 1-0 victories over Shenandoah and Guilford
Kyle Williams, Virginia Wesleyan Made 12 saves in a 1-0-1 week for the Marlins... Had a career-high nine saves in a shutout of Bridgewater

WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
JENNAH CARTER, GUILFORD COLLEGE
Carter, a senior from Orlando, Fla., led Guilford to a 3-0 week, including two ODAC wins, with seven goals and three assists for 17 points.  Notched her first two hat tricks of the season with three goals against Chowan and Randolph-Macon Woman's College. Had a goal and a season-high two assists in an ODAC win at Sweet Briar Oct. 18. Became Guilford's career assists leader with a helper in Saturday's win over Randolph-Macon Woman's College and matched her career high with seven points in the match.  With 21 goals this year, she needs three tallies to break her own Guilford season record.  Carter has eight multiple-goal matches this season.

Colleen Johnson, Emory & Henry Had a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Bridgewater as part of a five-goal week for the sophomore striker
Kristen Johnson, Sweet Briar Racked up 20 saves including 11 vs. Guilford in a pair of ODAC match ups on the week
Lindsey Williams, Virginia Wesleyan Picked up her ninth shutout of the season in a 0-0 tie with Lynchburg
Roz Klann, Washington & Lee Scored once and helped out on another in a 2-0 week for the undefeated Generals

VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
LAUREN EDMONSON, WASHINGTON & LEE UNIVERSITY
Edmonson, a senior from Crystal Lake, Ill., helped W&L to a 2-0 week by totaling 56 digs over the two matches.  In a 3-0 win over Eastern Mennonite, Edmonson tallied 23 digs.  She followed that with a 33-dig performance in a 3-1 win over Bridgewater on Saturday.  The 33 digs tied Edmonson's own school record for digs in a match.  On the season, she leads the team with 460 digs (5.29 dpg).

Marsha Hermes, Bridgewater Collected 35 kills in a 1-1 week for BC... knocked out 20 against W&L and 15 on a .538 pct. vs. RMWC
Courtney Miller, Eastern Mennonite Picked up 23 kills and 32 digs in a 1-1 week for the Royals
Becca Jones, Guilford Handed out 58 assists with 15 kills and 13 digs through three matches during the week
Dara Sandifer, Lynchburg Dished out 112 assists in 11 games (10.18 apg) including a 59-assist effort in a 3-1 win over Meredith

Hammed out 34 kills while picking up 37 digs and eight aces in a 3-1 week for the Yellow Jackets

Caitlyn Long, Roanoke Average 6.27 digs and 1.13 assists in three matches... had a career-high 32 digs at VWC
