SWIMMER OF THE WEEK
Kim Edmonds, Randolph-Macon Woman's
College
Edmonds, a senior from Mechanicsville, Va., won all
three of her individual events against Pfeiffer University on
Friday, a 105-95 loss. Edmonds picked up wins in the 100-yard
breaststroke (1:05.22) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:35.46), events
in which she currently holds ODAC top times. She also topped
the field in the 200-yard individual medley in a time of
2:27.69.

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Victor Horton, Eastern Mennonite
University
Horton, a sophomore from Pulaski, Va., led the Royals
to a third place finish (91 pts.) at the Dickinson College Winter
Meet. Horton, placed first in the high jump, clearing six
feet for the win. He placed second in the triple jump (13.2
meters) and third in the 200-meter dash (23.75). He also finished
in fifth position in the long jump (6.00 meters).

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Courtney Hartman, Bridgewater College
Hartman, a freshman from Roanoke, Va., turned in her
second week of strong individual efforts at the On Track Open
hosted by Liberty University. Hartman competed in four events
and fared well in each. In the shot, she placed 11th overall
and first among NCAA D-III participants with a toss of 34-feet
0.75-inches. In the high jump, she placed fourth overall
(second D-III) by clearing 5-feet 3-inches, the second best jump in
BC history. She also finished 11th overall (first D-III) in
the 200-meter dash (27.29 seconds) and third overall (second D-III)
in the 400-meter dash (60.65).
