Randolph-Macon's Lodge and Walsh All-Americans Two Times Over

FOREST, Va. --- Randolph-Macon College infielder Travis Lodge and starting pitcher James Walsh lead a list of ODAC award winners for the second and third times this season as the duo earn First Team All-American honors from both the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and D3baseball.com. Shenandah University designated hitter Jake Loew and starter Michael Scimanico earned Second Team All-American distinction from D3baseball.com, while Washington and Lee University starter Tom Concklin received the same honor from the ABCA.

Both outlets' All-South Region teams are heavily dotted by ODAC standouts.  The ABCA awarded Lodge, Walsh, Lowe, Scimanico, and Concklin with first team disctinction.  That group was joined by Bridgewater College outfielder Kenner Berry.  Hornets' outfielder Abel Arocho and reliever Phil Morse are joined on the second team by Yellow Jackets' designated hitter Nick Maiolo and utility man (outfielder/pitcher) Rick Spiers. Six standouts were tabbed to the third team.  The list includes outfielders Brandon Lineberry from Emory & Henry College and Justin Erby from Virginia Wesleyan College, shortstop Lee Carneal and utility player Reggie Johnson from Hampden-Sydney College, and W&L third baseman Ryan Weston and reliever Danny Devereux.

The D3baseball.com All-South Region first team features Berry, Lodge, Loew, Scimanico, and Walsh. Lineberry and Morse earned second team places, while Arocho, Concklin, and Spiers were selected to the third team.
