Reggie Johnson, Hampden-Sydney, Sr., Pitcher

Johnson, a senior from Dunnsville, Va., worked 10 innings over two games last week, helping Hampden-Sydney to a pair of wins and the fourth seed in the upcoming ODAC Baseball Tournament. Johnson opened with a scoreless inning of relief in a 7-6 win at Randolph-Macon. He then worked 9.0 innings in Tigers 2-1 win over Washington and Lee in 11 innings. He gave up one run while scattering eight hits. He walked one and fanned seven in the no-decision.  For the season, Johnson is 4-2 with a 3.03 earned run average 68.1 innings of work. He has fanned 59 batters, good for sixth in the ODAC.

Aaron Hooven, Eastern Mennonite (Sr.)
Hooven went 1-1 last week in 8.1 innings of work.  He worked 6.0 frames in a 6-2 loss at Shenandoah. He gave up four runs (two earned) on five hits with a pair of strikeouts. He came back to throw 2.1 innings of relief and earn the win in a 3-2 victory over Virginia Wesleyan. He did not allow a hit or a run while walking one and fanning two.

James Walsh, Randolph-Macon (Sr.)
Walsh faced just one batter over the minimum in picking up his ODAC-leading ninth win of the season in a 22-1 triumph at Emory & Henry. He surrendered just one hit and fanned 10 in six innings, lowering his ERA to 1.82, which ranks fourth in the ODAC.

Harrison Richards, Roanoke (Sr.)
Richards went the distance in the Maroons 3-1 win over Emory & Henry. He gave up one run on six hits with three walks and seven strikeouts in nine innings.

Darrell Thompson, Shenandoah (Sr.)
Thompson went 8.1 innings in game one of a doubleheader sweep at Lynchburg, winning 4-1. He gave up one run on four hits with two walks and six strikeouts.
