Guida, a senior from Summit, N.J., put together a strong week at the dish in helping Roanoke capture a trio of conference victories. Guida posted a .615/.667/1.385 slash line powered by an 8-for-13 showing with five extra-base hits, four runs scored, six runs driven in, and a pair of walks. He opened his week going 2-for-5 with a double, homer, two RBI and a run scored in a 10-1 win at Lynchburg. Guida went 6-for-8 in a sweep of Eastern Mennonite, going 2-for-3 with a double, homer, two runs scored, two RBI, and a pair of walks in an 8-4 win in game one. In the second outing, he was 4-for-5 with a triple, two RBI, and a run scored. For the season, Guida is third in the league in batting (.453) and on-base percentage (.557) and ranks second in slugging (.797), runs scored (21), and hits (29th). He leads the ODAC in triples (4) and total bases (51).

Baseball Player Weekly Honor Roll

Jonathan Triesler, H-SC: went 7-for-10 with five walks for an .800 OBP in three wins for the Tigers. Went 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBI in a 15-5 win over SVU. Went 5-for-7 with a double and two RBI in a sweep at Emory & Henry (19-3, 9-8).

Cole Migliorini, R-MC: went 10-for-16 wiht a homer, eight RBI, five runs scored, three stolen bases, and two walks in the Yellow Jackets 4-0 showing. Went 4-for-4 with three RBI in a 15-7 win over Ferrum. Again went 4-for-4 with a homer, four runs scored, and three RBI in a 17-3 victory over Guilford in game two of a sweep (4-1 in game 1).

Robert Marcell, SU: was 8-for-11 with a double, triple, six runs scored,and two RBI in a 2-1 week for the Hornets. Had three hits each in wins over Mt. Aloysius (17-3) and Gallaudet (14-1). Two hits in a 7-3 win over Frosburg State.

Randy Neisz, VWU: went 9-for-11 with three doubles, a triple, homer, 11 RBI and six runs scored in a 3-1 week for the Marlins. Had three hits including a double and a homer with four RBI in a 10-5 win over Salisbury. Drove in three runs in a 14-10 loss to CNU and three more in a 5-4 win in game two of a sweep of Washington and Lee (6-4 in game 1).
