Will Salva, Roanoke, Fr., Infielder

Salva, a freshman from Leesburg, Va., helped the nationally ranked Maroons to a 3-0 week that included a two-day two-game sweep of fellow nationally ranked Shenandoah on the road. Salva went 7-for-13 over the three contests, smacking a double and a homer to go with six runs driven in, five runs scored, two walks, and a stolen base. He was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in a 7-1 win at Greensboro. He went 1-for-4 with two runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base in an 8-5 victory in game one at Shenandoah. He followed up with a 4-for-5 day in a 14-3 triumph in game two. He belted a homer and drove in four runs while scoring four more. For the season, Salva is hitting .393 (22-for-56) with 13 RBI and 29 total bases.

Baseball Player Weekly Honor Roll

Luke Paczewski, BC: went 5-for-11 with five RBI and two runs scored in the Eagles 1-2 week. Drove in four runs with two hits in BC's 7-4 win at R-MC in game one of a split.

Damon Frazier, EMU: went 7-for-12 with two doubles and two homers in a 2-1 week for the Royals. Drove in three runs with two homers in an 8-3 win at W&L. Drove in three more Royals with a double in a 16-13 setback to E&H. Had three hits in both of those games. Scored a run in a 4-1 win in game two against the Wasps.

Josh Shepherd: went 6-for-12 in a 1-2 week for the Quakers. Went 4-for-5 with a double and two RBI in an 11-6 non-conference win over Tufts.

Will Harris, LC: Had three hits and two RBI including the game-winning knock in the 10th inning of a 5-4 win over W&L. Also stole a base in that contest. Doubled in game two (L, 5-2).

Joseph Tuzzolo, R-MC: went 3-for-7 with two doubles, two runs scored, and two walks in a split with Bridgewater.  Drove in a run and scored twice in a 14-2 win in game two.

Jacob Pilarski, VWU: Picked up a win in game one (8-4) of a sweep of Guilford, going six frames and giving up one run on five hits with five strikeouts and a walk. Went 1-for-4 with a RBI in game two (5-2). Exploded for seven RBI in a 3-for-5 day that included a double and a homer in a 25-13 triumph over Tufts. Scored three runs in that game.
