ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 1

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  It's all up to you!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the entries below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: BRIDGEWATER VS. ST. VINCENT

  PLAY 2: CATHOLIC VS. McDANIEL

Description: BC defensive end Kenny Szabo recovered a fumble at the St. Vincent 30-yard line and jaunted to the end zone for a touchdown.  The score put the Eagles ahead, 31-0, heading into halftime.   Description: CUA receiver John Serdakowski hauls in a 39-yard touchdown pass from E.J. Montgomery with 7:31 left in the second quarter.  The play was the longest of the night for both teams and put CUA ahead 27-0.
 
     
PLAY 3: EMORY & HENRY VS. FERRUM

  PLAY 4: GUILFORD VS. GREENSBORO
Final Votes Received: 45.7%
Description: E&H quarterback Kyle Boden lays a 41-yard pass into the out-stretched arms of receiver Josh Smith in stride for a 17-0 lead with 36-seconds to play in the first quarter.
  Description: Guilford quarterback Matt Pawlowski finds an uncovered Hayden Read down the sidelines for a 33-yard touchdown pass that gives Guilford the lead for good (31-28) in its Gate City Soup Bowl win. The play capped a 2-play, 80-yard drive that took 16 seconds. Guilford started the drive with no timeouts at its own 20-yard line before Pawlowski and Read connected on identical plays for the win.
 
     
PLAY 5: HAMPDEN-SYDNEY VS. AVERETT

  PLAY 6: RANDOLPH-MACON VS. JOHNS HOPKINS
Final Votes Received: 0.2%
Description: H-SC quarterback Nash Nance connects with wide receiver Holton Walker on a second-and-11 pass, and Walker took it 56 yards for his second touchdown catch of at least 45 yards.  The play came with 12:05 on the clock in the third quarter and put ahead 28-6.
  Description: R-MC quarterback Zac Naccarato hits running back Will McGhee with a swing pass that he takes 45 yards for a touchdown. The score pulled R-MC to within 10 at 24-14 with 7:19 to play in the fourth quarter.
 
     
PLAY 7: SHENANDOAH VS. GALLAUDET

  PLAY 8: WASHINGTON AND LEE VS. F&M
Final Votes Received: 1.4%
Description: SU freshman tight end Miles Green scores his first-ever TD and cuts the Hornets deficit to seven by hauling in a 27-yard TD pass from holder Drew Ferguson on a fake field goal.  The play occurred with 1:22 left in the first half.
  Description: W&L defensive back Mitchell Thompson steps in front of the receiver to make a diving interception on the F&M 29-yardline. The pick led to the game-winning score with 4:16 remaining in the game.
