ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 11

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week? You make the call!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week. Watch each of the finalists below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page. This week's winner will be announced on Thursday afternoon. The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: Catholic vs. Bridgewater		PLAY 2: Guilford vs. Emory & Henry
Description: Bridgewater hit a 44-yard field goal with 14:55 to play to bring the Eagles to within 28-13. They went for an onside kick on the ensuing kickoff, but Catholic turned the tables. Ben Powers not only recovered the bouncing ball, but he returned it 45 yards for a touchdown to effectively seal the Cardinals eventual 42-19 win. The victory secured CUA's first winning campaign since 2008.		Description: Trailing 31-21 with less than seven minutes to play, Matt Pawlowski faced the E&H rush head-on and found Chad Christopher in the corner of the end zone with a 14-yard touchdown pass, the Quakers' fourth touchdown in as many possessions. Christopher stretched to make the finger-tip catch for his first college score in two seasons. The PAT was good and Guilford pulled to within 31-28 on its way to a surprising 35-31 win after trailing 31-0 in the third quarter.


PLAY 3: Hampden-Sydney vs. Randolph-Macon		PLAY 4: Randolph-Macon vs. Hampden-Sydney
Description: After R-MC back Will McGhee notched his second touchdown of the game, the score stood 28-26 in H-SC's favor with 1:35 to play. The Yellow Jackets got two shots at a two-point conversion thanks to a defensive penalty on the first try. On the second attempt, linebacker Tyler Ikwild stood up McGhee before he could get to the goal line, thwarting the two-point attempt and effectively sealing the Tigers' win and accompanying ODAC title.		Description: With R-MC trailing 14-7 early in the second quarter, the Yellow Jacket defense stopped H-SC quarterback Nash Nance for no gain on a 4th-and-2 run at the R-MC 34. On the first play of the ensuing drive, running back Will McGhee burtst thru the line for 66 yards and a game-tying touchdown. The carry gave McGhee the school-record for rushing yards in a season, a total that would eventually reach 1,676 yards, the second-most all-time in the ODAC.


PLAY 1: Shenandoah vs. Washington and Lee
Description: Trailing 7-0 after W&L opened the game with a touchdown, Cedrick Delaney added some excitement for SU on just their second play from scrimmage. He took a misdirection bubble screen from Justin Neff, alluded at least one defender and then darted 70 yards for the tying score. SU eventually won the contest, 21-14 in overtime, ending their second ODAC season with three more wins than in 2012.
