ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 4

Who will be the winner of this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week?  It's all up to you!

Each week, our member schools submit plays to the conference office for your consideration for the ODAC Play of the Week.  Watch each of the entries below and then vote for the play that you think is the best of the week in the poll at the bottom of the page.  Each week's winner will be announced on Wednesday afternoons.  The winners will be eligible for the ODAC Football Play of the Year at the end of the season!

PLAY 1: BRIDGEWATER AT APPRENTICE SCHOOL   PLAY 2: CATHOLIC AT ANNA MARIA
Description: After forcing a Bridgewater punt early in the fourth quarter, Apprentice School went back on offense with a chance to take the lead as the Eagles held on to a slim 18-16 advantage. Quarterback Drew Lavender took a three-step drop and Darrick Gore jumped the route and sprinted 20 yards to the endzone to put the Eagles up two scores at a 25-16 tally.   Description: Early in the second quarter, running back Matt Perno took a hand-off from T.J. Tutone out of the shotgun formation.  He burst thru the right side of the line and sprinted 67 yards for the second of his three touchdowns on the day.  He finished with 161 yards on 17 carries, which was the driving force behind a 232-yard rushing effort by CUA.
 

 
PLAY 3: EMORY & HENRY AT SEWANEE  
Description: With the scored tied midway thru the fourth quarter, junior defensive lineman Chris Kernisky blocked a punt, the second blocked punt of the day for the Wasps.  E&H assumed possession at the 31-yard line.  Three plays later, E&H scored a touchdown to take the lead for good, 34-27, with 8:15 to go in the game.
