Shenandoah Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Award

Shenandoah Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Award

FOREST, Va. --- Week six featured four different types of plays, but we have a familiar winner for this week's ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll.  Shenandoah University picks up is second win of the season.

Leading 25-10 at the outset of the third quarter, Shenandoah defensive back Josh White pushed the Hornets' lead to 22 points as he intercepted a pass and returned it 35-yards for a touchdown.  It was the first INT thrown by Guilford quarterback Matt Pawlowski this season, and is the second pick-six for White this season.  SU went on to win, 47-31.

The four plays in this weeks contest garnered nearly 500 votes from ODAC and NCAA Division III football fans.  White's interception and return for a touchdown garnered 39.16-percent of the vote.  The four plays were watched more than 1,100 times on the ODAC website and YouTube channel.
