Guilford Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Award

FOREST, Va. --- For the second week in a row, Guilford College came out on top in the ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll.  It marks the Quakers second win overall this season.

Holding a narrow 7-6 lead late in the third quarter, Guilford rolls the dice on fourth-and-one from the Quakers' 38-yard line. Running back Josh Schow gets the call and breaks off a 62-yard TD run, his longest of the season, which opens a 14-6 Quakers' lead. Guilford went on to score on its next two possessions in a 28-6 road triumph. Schow finished with 111 rushing yards and 90 receiving yards. He has five rushing touchdowns in his last two games.

The four plays in this weeks contest garnered more than 1,000 votes from ODAC and NCAA Division III football fans.  Schow's long run garnered 48.54-percent of the vote.  The four plays were watched nearly 1,000 times on the ODAC website and YouTube channel.
