Bridgewater Wins Final ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll

FOREST, Va. --- It took until the last weekly poll of the season, but Bridgewater College wrapped up its first win in the ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll.  Keith Jennings' 85-yard touchdown catch-and-run not only was the most viewed of the plays this week, but also set a new season record for voting percentage received.

Midway thru the third quarter, the Bridgewater offense put together one of two long plays on its way to a 45-13 win over Catholic.  Tight end Keith Jennings wrong-footed a CUA defensive back, resulting in a wide-open catch-and-run that covered 85 yards to put BC ahead, 31-6.  The Eagles would go on to add a 75-yard score later in the contest towards a 45-13 season-ending victory.

This week's four nominees were viewed nearly 700 times on YouTube and the ODAC website.  Jenning's 85-yard catch-and-run received 67.15-percent of the vote, eclipsing the previous season-record of 63.04-percent set by Randolph-Macon College in week nine.
