Generals quarterback Charlie Nelson contributed his longest run to a Generals' rushing attack that rattled off 498 yards and seven touchdowns midway thru the third quarter. Nelson used a little mis-direction to free himself up, faking a hand-off to the right before darting thru the line on the left. He sprinted about 45 yards before being forced to cross the field for the remaining 30 yards of a 75-yard touchdown run. The score gave W&L a 40-27 lead with 6:44 showing on the third quarter clock. The Generals would go on to defeat Guilford, 48-34.

ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 7 - Bridgewater
Late in the third quarter, Bridgewater broke thru against Shenandoah with its first touchdown of the game. It proved to be another first for one particular Eagle as the 25-yard strike marked the first scoring throw in quarterback Kyle Edwards collegiate career. Receiver Alex Galloway did some extra work to find end zone as he broke a tackle after hauling in the pass and sprinted to the goal line. -
ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 7 - Emory & Henry
Late in the first quarter, Emory & Henry took the lead for good on the way to its 27-20 win over Randolph-Macon. Kevin Saxton hit Derrick Yates with a 48-yard score. Yates hauled in the pass at the 6-yard line and spun past his defender to put E&H ahead, 7-2, with 1:06 showing on the first quarter clock. -
ODAC Football Play of the Week: Week 7 - Shenandoah
Already leading 24-3 in the final minutes of the third quarter, linebacker Steve Gebhardt helped out the Hornets offense by putting some points on the board with a pick-six. Gebhardt stepped in front of the intended receiver and raced to the end zone for a 21-yard returning touchdown. That put Shenandoah ahead, 31-3, on the way to a 34-10 win over Bridgewater.
