Washington and Lee Wins ODAC Football Play of the Week Fan Poll

FOREST, Va. --- Week three of the ODAC Football Play of the Week fan poll brought about a new winner following a pair of victories by Emory & Henry College to start the season. Washington and Lee University earned its first triumph thanks to a tough catch by tight end Jack Taylor.

Washington and Lee's passing game has seen an uptick in production in 2016, and that continued on Saturday against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. Tight end Jack Taylor showed off his hands by snaring a 31-yard pass down the seam from Charlie Nelson late in the first quarter. That setup a Generals' touchdown for an early 14-0 lead.

This week's nominees resulted in nearly 3,200 interactions on YouTube and the ODAC website.  Taylor's catch against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps received 29.51-percent of the vote from ODAC football fans.
