Gore, a senior from Petersburg, Va., had a hand in all three
turnovers forced by the Eagles in Saturday's 32-16 win over
Apprentice School. In addition to six total tackles, Gore
intercepted a pair of passes and recovered a fumble. In the
first half, he helped prematurely end the Builder's final drive
before halftime by picking up a loose ball caused by Nicholas
Anthony. Gore added points for the BC defense on the second
play of the fourth quarter. With the Eagles leading, 18-16,
Gore intercepted a pass from Deon Lavender and returned it 20 yards
for a touchdown. On the Builders very next possession, Gore
ended it after three plays with his second interception, this one
at the opponent's 21-yard line. Two plays later, Bridgewater
tacked on another touchdown. Gore is tied for second in the
ODAC with two interceptions.
