Who will Separate from the Pack in 2015?
Four teams tied at the top of the ODAC standings...that's what the conference picture looked like following the 2014 regular season. Hampden-Sydney College earned the league championship following the application of tiebreakers, continuing its recent run of conference titles and the ODAC's automatic bid into the NCAA Division III Tournament, marking the Tigers fifth appearance on the national stage in the last six years. While it undoubtedly looks to hoist the conference hardware for the third straight year, H-SC will have its hands full with the likes of Bridgewater College, Emory & Henry College and Guilford College, all of which tied with the Tigers at 5-2 in ODAC play last season.
Guilford, Bridgewater and Hampden-Sydney are on the national radar entering 2015 as they are each receiving votes in the D3football.com Top-25 Preseason Poll. The Quakers, much like last season, lead the pack in terms of returning players as nine All-ODAC honorees are set to lace them up in the friendly confines of the Armfield Athletic Center. GC isn't the only squad welcoming back talent as seven of the eight programs feature multiple All-ODAC standouts.
