Gahman, a sophomore from Souderton, Pennsylvania, was the top ODAC finisher in the Eagles' season-opening event to help Bridgewater to the team title at the Tom Kinder Memorial at Lakeview Golf Club in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Gahman fired rounds of 67 and 75 to finish with a two-under-par total of 142. The 67 he shot in the first round tied the BC program record for lowest round.
Golf Honor Roll
Britt Parnell, Hampden-Sydney College, Senior
Parnell paced the Tigers in the Longwood Intercollegiate
last week as he finished tied for 22nd place overall.
The senior had strong showing in the first round shooting one under
par (71) which was the fourth best performance in the first round
of play. He followed with two rounds of 79 to help H-SC to a sixth
place team finish.
Adam Skaff, Roanoke College, Sophomore
Skaff finished tied for the third at the Tom Kinder
Memorial, shooting rounds of 70 and 73 to finish one-under par
(143). Roanoke placed fourth as a team.
Robert Womble, Washington and Lee University, Senior
Womble helped lead the Generals to a second place finish
out of seven teams at the season-opening Elizabethtown Invitational
over the weekend. He tied for third overall out of 35
individuals with a two-day score of 73-75-148 (+5), just two
strokes behind the individual leader from Methodist
University. Womble earned First Team All-ODAC honors a season
ago after helping lead the Generals to their second-straight ODAC
title.
