Ratner, a senior from Asheville, N.C., placed second in the 60-man Davidson Invitational with a 36-hole score of 73-73--146. He helped Guilford finish seventh among 10 teams, all of which were NCAA Division I aside from the Quakers. Ratner finished one shot behind individual medalist Sam Echikson from the host Wildcats, who finished one-over-par on the 7,208-yard track at Rivier Run Country Club in Davidson, N.C. The performance was Ratner's best finish of the season (combined fall and spring) and his third consecutive top-seven result. He lowered his stroke average to a team-best 73.47, which also leads the ODAC.
