Elizabeth Cheng, Hollins, Junior

Cheng, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., started off the spring campaign where she left off in the spring, corralling her third win of the year at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational.  After posting a first round score of 9-over 81, she followed up with a 1-under 71 marking the low-round of the tournament.  She capped play with a 4-over 76 for a three-round total of 228 (12-over) on the par-72 5,838-yard track at Indian Mound Golf Club in Jekyll Island, Ga. The 120-player field was populated with 11 of the top 20 golfers in NCAA Division III.  Cheng has placed in the top-five in all five events she's played this season.  She leads the ODAC with a 76.3 per-round stroke average.

Walker was the second-best golfer from among ODAC programs in action over the weekend at the Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational in Georgia. Walker posted rounds of 91, 85 and 85 to finish tied for 65th at 261 (45-over).

Wright opened her spring season by finishing second overall out of 26 competitors at the Taylor Made Adidas Intercollegiate at the Cotton Dike Course in Dataw Island, S.C. Wright carded a two-day score of 89-86--175 to finish one stroke behind the individual champion. For the year, the rookie player has notched an 85.7 scoring average over 10 rounds played.
