Ratner, a senior from Asheville, N.C., shot 72-72-73---217 (+4) to place eighth among 90 golfers at the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational. He helped Guilford place 10th among 18 teams, 16 of which were ranked in the Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches' Poll. Ratner lowered his early-season stroke average to a team-leading 74.0 after three rounds on the par 71, 6,793-yard course at Raven Golf Club.
