Ratner, a senior from Asheville, N.C., shot 74-69--143 to place seventh at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate over the weekend. He had the best finish by a non-Division I contestant and shared low-round honors with a 69 in the second round, which also marked his lowest 18-hole score of the year. Ratner's efforts helped the Quakers place ninth in the 13-team field, which was comprised of the Quakers and 12 NCAA Division I teams. He lowered his overall season stroke average to a personal season-low 73.7.
