Nick Shedd, Guilford, Jr.

Shedd, a junior from Williamsburg, Va., picked up where he left off in the fall by winning his second event of the year, this time the spring's opening tournament at the Pine Needles Intercollegiate.  Shedd matched his career-low in the opening round with a two-under 69 and then posted a three-over 74 to finish at one-over 143 and win by four strokes, becoming the first Quaker to win back-to-back tournaments since Noah Ratner turned the trick in 2011-12.  Shedd's efforts helped GC to the team title as the Quakers' 588 total was 22 shots better than Cape Fear.
