Freed, a freshman from Alexandria, Va., continued the Generals' run of success as she won the Yellow Jacket Invitational, leading Washington and Lee to the team title. Freed opened with five-over 77, but then rebounded with the only under-par round of the tournament, firing a one-under 71 to win by three strokes at 148. The Generals won by five strokes as a team, posting a 633 on the 5,818-yard par-72 track at The Hollows in Ashland, Va. Freed owns a 78.0 average thru 14 rounds of play, helping W&L to eighth in the country by Golfstat.

Bowling chimed in third out of 61 players at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, carding two rounds of 76 to finish eight-over 152. R-MC placed fifth as a team.
