Evan Cocke, Shenandoah, Jr.

Cocke, a junior from Centreville, Va., helped the Hornets' to the program's best-ever finish at the Marine Federal Credit Union Intercollegiate at Camp leJeune.  Cocke earned individual medalist honors in the championshi Gold division, finishing at four-under par to win by one stroke over Anthony Macaglia from Oglethorpe University.  Cocke opened with a one-over 73 on the par-72 gold course, but then followed with a tournament-best five-under 65 on the scarlet layout.  He posted an even-par 72 in third round, finishing at 210 for the event.  Shenandoah tied for seventh as a team at 903.

Men's Golf Honor Roll

Elijah Tackett, Bridgewater (Jr. - Roanoke, Va.)
Tackett shot a career-best 66 in his second round at Camp LeJeune, helping him to an 11th place showing in the Gold division at four-over 218.  He carded rounds of 74 (+2), 66 (-4) and 78 (+6) on the gold and scarlet layouts.

Brian Burt, Hampden-Sydney (Sr. - Holt, Mich.)
Burt tied for individual medalist honors at the Bermuda Collegiate Invitational, posting rounds of 75 and 77 to finish 11-over par in windy conditions.  The Tigers placed fourth at 670.

Josh Irby, Lynchburg (Fr. - Clover, Va.)
Irby finished fourth in the Scarlett division at Camp LeJeune, shooting a four-over 216 over the three rounds of action.  he had a team-low 71 on the scarlett layout in round three.

Kyle Fuller, Randolph-Macon (Sr. - Richmond, Va.)
Fuller tied for ninth in the Gold division at Camp LeJeune, finishing at two-over 216.  He opened with an even-par 72, followed by a two-under 68 on the scarlett layout.  He finished with a four-over 76 on the gold course. Randolph-Macon placed sixth as a team (893).

Will Brown, Roanoke (Jr. - Chester, Md.)
Brown took third in the Scarlett division at Camp LeJeune, leading RC to the scarlett championship (893).  Brown fired rounds of 67 (-3), 79 (+7) and 69 (-1) over the scarlett (rounds 1 and 3) and gold (round 2) layouts.
