Bowling, a junior from Charlotte Hall, Md., picked up right where she left off last season as the 2013-14 ODAC Women's Golfer of the Year won individual medalist honors at the NYU Invitational at Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y.  The Yellow Jackets placed fourth out of 11 teams at the season-opening event. Bowling opened up a three-shot lead following the first round of play, firing an even-par 72 over the 5,809-yard layout.  She improved her lead by one on Sunday, carding a two-under 70 to finish at two-under 142 for the tournament, winning by four shots over Michelle Peng from Middlebury College.  Bowling was the only player to finish under-par for the tournament.

Herbert opened up her collegiate career by tying for second at the Denison Fall Invitational hosted by Denison University in Grantville, Ohio. Herbert carded rounds of 76 and 81 to finish at 15-over-par 157, six shots off the lead.
