Gross, a sophomore from Archdale, N.C., led the Quakers contingent at the Tournament Town Championship Preview, hosted by Guilford College.  Gross tied for eighth overall with a three-round score of 219, carding rounds of 73, 72 and 74.  His three-over-par efforts helped GC to a sixth-place team showing at 896 (300, 291, 305).  The event featured 11 of the top-23 teams in the GCAA Division III Preseason Poll.

Men's Golf Honor Roll

Brian Burt, Hampden-Sydney (Sr. - Holt, Mich.)
Burt helped the Tigers to a seventh place (897 -- 304-289-304) showing at the Tournament Town Championship Preview by tying for eighth overall at three-over-par 219.  He carded rounds of 75, 71 and 73.

Conley Hurst, Washington and Lee (So. - Little Rock, Ark.)
Hurst tied for 18th overall our of 90 golfers at the Tournament Town Championship Preview, carding a seven-over-par 223 (71-75-77).  His efforts helped W&L to an 11th place team showing at 912 (308, 301, 303).
