Tommy Schick, Guilford, Fr.

Schick, a freshman from Clear Lake, Iowa, led Guilford at the Emory Spring Invitational with an even-par 140 to finish second overall. He opened with a 3-over 73 before posting a career-best 3-under 67 in round two towards a new career-low two-round total. His efforts helped Guilford to eighth in the team standings that featured six top-12 teams in NCAA Division III according to Golfstat. Schick enters the ODAC Championships carrying a 76.5 average over 10 rounds of competition.

Men's Golf Weekly Honor Roll

Rhett Martin, Bridgewater (Sr.)
Martin competed twice for BC last week, tying for 15th at the Glen Heath Shipbuilders Memorial and tying for third at the Roanoke Invitational. He carded rounds of 84 and 78 to finish at 18-over 162. At Roanoke, he posted a pair of 75's to finish at eight-over 150.  Bridgewater placed second and fifth in the two tournaments, respectively.

Parker Smith, Hampden-Sydney (So.)
Smith tied for first at the Roanoke Invitational at 6-over 148 following rounds of 75 and 73.  He capped the event by winning a one-hole playoff over teammate Alex Simmons to claimed medalist honors.

Matthew McDonagh, Randolph-Macon (So.)
McDonagh played twice last week, coming thru with a medalist honor at the Glen Heath Shipbuilders Memorial and tying for fifth at the Roanoke Invitational. He finished at 6-over par 150 at the Shipbuilders, carding rounds of 78 and 72, the latter of which was low for the tournament. At Roanoke, he carded rounds of 80 and 71 to finish at 9-over 151.
