Evens, a freshman from Mercer Island, Wash., paced the Quakers at the Discover DeKalb Emory Invitational, an event which featured 10 of the top-20 teams of the country. Evens registered his fourth top-10 showing of the season after tying for eighth overall after two rounds on the 6,510-yard par-70 track at Smoke Rise Country Club. Evens opened with a 2-over 72 before picking up two shots for an even-par 70 in round two to account for his 142 two-day total. He made seven birdies over the 36 holes, which led GC and ranked seventh in the 87-player field. Guilford tied for 10th in the team standings at 603.

Conley Hurst, Washington and Lee (Sr.)
Hurst helped the Generals advance to the championship matchup of the Division III Match Play Invitational. He went 3-0 to buoy the Generals lineup to a 2-1 showing and finish as runner-up to Berry College. Hurst defated Connor McCarthy from Centre College, 2-and-1. He then claimed a 4-and-2 victory over Jamie Agnew from Hampden-Sydney before topped Eddy Black from Berry, 4-and-3.
