Jakob Keidel, Virginia Wesleyan, Fr.

Keidel, a freshman from Salisbury, Md., tied four eighth out of 75 players in the Gold Championship at the Marine Federal Credit Union Invitational hosted by Camp Lejeune. Keidel fired a 2-under 68 in round one, helping Virginia Wesleyan shoot the lowest team round in school at 283 (+3). He finished with a 2-over 74 on day two to chime in at even-par 142 and four shots of the eventual winner from Oglethorpe University. The Marlins finished fourth as a team at 9-over 577 (283-294). Keidel owns a 77.2 average thru 13 rounds of competition.

Men's Golf Weekly Honor Roll

Josh Petrillo, LC: finished in a tie for 17th in the Gold Championship at Camp Lejeune after rounds of 77 and 68 for a 3-over 145. His 68 is the third-best round in program history and helped LC break the school record for low team round in a tournament (278) and 36-hole record (585), the latter of which having been set back at the 1989 ODAC Championship.

Trey Razzetti, R-MC: tied for 17th out of 75 competitors for a 3-over 145. Carded rounds of 70 and 75 to help R-MC to a tie for ninth at 24-over 592 (287-305).

Brad Williams, RC: earned his first collegiate top-10 in the Scarlett competition at Camp Lejeune, tying for ninth after posting rounds of 77 and 72 for a 7-over 149. Helped RC to ninth in the team standings at 616 (309-307).
