Jones, a sophomore from Atlanta, Ga., put together a top-10 performance at the Montgomery C.C. Intercollegiate hosted by Huntingdon College at Montgomery Country Club in Montgomery, Ala. Jones finished in a tie for sixth overall with three other players at 6-over par 150 after two ronds on the par 72 layout set at 5,802 yards. She opened with an even-par 72 before finishing with a 6-over 78. Her efforts helped Washington and Lee finished second overall in the team standings at 610 (305-305). That is the lowest 36-hole team score for the Generals in program history.
