Self, a first-year from Bristol, Tenn., collected her first collegiate medal in just her second tournament by winning the Bridgewater Invitational hosted by Bridgewater College. Self carded a 3-over 147 following two rounds of action on the par-72 layout set to 5,805 yards at Lakeview Golf Club in Harrisonburg, Va. Self opened with a 1-over 73, her best round of the season to-date. That gave her a three-shot lead heading into round two. She made that stand up with a 2-over 74 to win by three strokes over Emma Harding from York (Pa.). Self's efforts helped lead the University of Lynchburg to fourth place of eight competing teams at 106-over 682 (337-345).
