Luke Sohl, Bridgewater, Sophomore

Sohl, a sophomore from Burke, Va., put together a strong performance at the Armory Collegiate Invitational in New York City.  On the first day, he and teammates Nevin Heckman, Sam Gunther and Tim Wisniewski posted a time of 10:17.20 to snap the ODAC record in the distance medley relay by more than nine seconds.  Sohl ran a 4:18 mile split as the team's effort established a new BC record in the process.  On the following day, Sohl was the top non-NCAA Division I finisher (11th overall) in the 5,000-meter run as his time of 14:55.57 is the lone sub-15 minute time in the conference this season.  Sohl's time broke the previous Bridgewater record held by Nathan Rittenhouse by more than 21 seconds.

Men's Indoor Track Weekly Honor Roll

Drew Vrolijk, Eastern Mennonite - (Fr., High Jump - Harrisonburg, Va.)
Vrolijk broke the EMU high jump record Satruday at the Hilton Garden Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.  On his third and final try, Vrolijk cleared 1.93 meters (6' 4") to set EMU's mark and grab the second-best height in the ODAC this season.  He finished 7th at the meet, which was packed with D-I and D-II competitors.

Andris Goncarovs, Guilford College -

Goncarovs ran the ODAC's fastest time in the 3,000-meter run at the Hilton Garden Invitational, crossing the line in 8:51.81.

Zachary Kezar, Lynchburg College -
(So. - Hampton, Va.)
Kezar finished fourth in the 200-meter dash with a time of 23.97 at the Marietta Open.  He went on to win the long jump competition with a leap of 6.50 meters (21' 4").  He later helped lead the LC 4x200-meter relay team to a winning time of 1:37.27.
