McDonald, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., competed in two events at the Denison Lid Lifter hosted by Denison University. He finished second both times, tying a Washington and Lee school-record in the process. He was the runner-up in the 800-meter run, matching the W&L standard with a time of 1:57.46. It also ranks as the fastest in the ODAC this season and 20th in NCAA Division III. He also ran the lead-leg of the Generals' distance medley relay team that placed second in 11:00.07. It marks the first DMR run in the ODAC this season and ranks 30th nationally.

Alex Martin, Guilford (Fr., Sprints - Winston-Salem,
N.C.)
Martin sprinted twice at the Winston-Salem State Open, posting
top-five ODAC times in both. In a largely D-I meet, he was the top
D-III finisher and 19th overall in the 200-meter dash with a time
of 23.62, good for third in the ODAC. His time of 7.22 in the
60-meter dash was the second-best D-III time and 20th overall. It
ranks fifth in the ODAC.
