Dana Lee, Washington and Lee, So., Jumps/Sprints

Lee, a sophomore from Nashville, Tenn., competed in four individual events and one relay at the CNU Holiday Open, beginning the season as the top ODAC competitor in two disciplines.  She tops the conference in both the long and triple jumps and is second in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes.  She was the top NCAA Division III finisher in the long jump, placing sixth overall at 5.26 meters (17' 3.25").  She was 10th overall and third D3 with the triple jump with a mark of 10.37 meters (34' 0.25").  She was again the top Divison III competitor in the 60-dash, posting a 20th overall place time of 8.08 seconds.  In the 200-dash, Lee 29th overall in 27.40 seconds.  She also ran a leg of the Generals' 4x400-meter relay team that posted a time of 4:14.74 to place ninth overall.

Women's Indoor Track Honor Roll

Kaylee Kubisiak, Bridgewater (Jr., Distance - Abbottstown, Pa.)
Kubisiak brought her cross country success indoors to the track as she won the 5000-meter run at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational with a time of 17:51.43.

Tess Stryk, Guilford (Jr., Sprints - Arlington, Va.)
Stryk set a school-record in the 400-meter dash at the JDL Kick-off Classic with a time of 1:07.17 to finish 29th overall.  She also ran a leg of the Quakers' 4x400-meter team that finished 20th in 4:49.45.

Aleshia Washington, Lynchburg (Sr., Sprints/Jumps - Virginia Beach, Va.)
Washington set the tone for th Hornets at the Darius Dixon Memorial.  She ran 8.02-seconds in the 60-meter dash, which tops the ODAC and finished seventh overall.  She was the third overall and top D3 in the long jump with a leap of 5.19 meters (17' 0.5"), second-best in the conference so far.

Alease Kinney, Roanoke (Jr., Sprints - Hermitage, Va.)
Kinney was finished fourth out of 32 runners in the 400-meter dash at the JDL College Kick-off, posting an ODAC-best time of 58.40 seconds.

Tiffany Lennon, Virginia Wesleyan (So., Sprints - Carrollton, Va.)
Lennon set a new VWC record in the 200-meter dash at the CNU Holiday Open.  Her time of 26.64 seconds was tops among D3 competitors and 16th overall, breaking the Marlins record of 27.12 seconds set last season by Shakiella Daniel. Lennon also ran a leg of VWC's 4x400-meter relay team that finished seventh overall in 4:10.42.
