Dana Lee, Washington and Lee, Jr., Jumps/Sprints

Lee, a junior from Nashville, Tenn., posted national top-20 marks in a pair of events at the Vince Brown Invitational. In the long jump, she bettered her own ODAC top mark with a leap of 5.59 meters.  That was third overall and ranks fifth in NCAA Division III. On the track, Lee set a new Washington and Lee record with a third place time of 0:25.97.  It also tops the ODAC seasonal charts.  Lee completed her efforts by running the anchor leg of the Generals' second placed 4x400-meter relay team, which tops the conference charts at 4:07.58.

Amber Celen, Bridgewater (So. - Jumps)
Celen finished second in the long jump at the Crusader Challenge, leaping to 5.52 meters to set a new school record.  That also ranks second in the ODAC this season.

Kim Alfaro, Lynchburg (Sr. - Throws)
Alfaro won the weight throw competition at the Vince Brown Invitational. She didn't overtake her own ODAC top mark, but her toss of 15.90m won the event by more than half-a-foot.

Michelle Yates, Virginia Wesleyan (So. - Throws)
Yates set a personal-best in the shot put at the Vince Brown Invitational. She heaved the apparatus 11.75m, which placed seventh and now sits atop the ODAC season charts.  She also had a personal-best showing in the weight throw at 11.52m.
