Todd, a senior from Cumberland Foreside, Maine, nearly added a Washington and Lee record to her track & field plaudits following her efforts at the JDL DMR Challenge hosted at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Todd finished sixth overall and first among Division III competitors in the Division I heavy field in the mile run at 5:02.55. That time ranks first in the ODAC and is the second-fastest in Generals program history behind the 5:00.91 posted by Elizabeth Webb in 2009. When converted to banked/oversized track parameters for Division III rankings, her time of 4:59.59 is slotted 33rd in the country.

Seward, a junior from Ebony, Va., picks up her second weekly honor of the season after resetting one of her own records as part of two events competed at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. Seward snapped her own Lynchburg record in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing 2nd overall at 8.74 seconds. She bettered her already top time in the ODAC, which now ranks ninth in Division III. Her new time is just 0.05 seconds shy of the ODAC record set by former Bridgewater standout Emily Valle in 2019. Seward posted a collegiate-best mark in the long jump and won the event with a leap of 5.42 meters (17-9.50). That mark ranks third in the conference and 47th in the country and improved upon her own hold on fifth in Lynchburg program history.

Csorba, a senior from Boydton, Va., posted a pair of top-five ODAC times with collegiate best performances in two mid-distance events at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. Csorba finished third in the mile with a time of 4:08.17 to rank 16th in Division III this season. When converted for flat/200m track for ODAC rankings, Csorba converted time of 4:11.35 is #1 in the conference, 0.48 seconds quicker than teammate Sam Llaneza. Csorba also competed in the 800-meter run, placing second overall at 1:56.92. His converted time of 1:58.60 ranks fourth in the ODAC.

Smith, a sophomore from Waynesboro, Va., went record-hunting at the JDL DMR Invitational in the Eagles final tune-up before the ODAC Championships. Smith set the Bridgewater program record in the weight throw with a second-place toss of 18.76 meters (61-6.75). He is #2 in the ODAC behind only the conference-record toss (19.27m) by Shenandoah's Tucker Kindig. Smith's mark is also eighth in Division III. Smith also competed in the shot put, moving into third on the ODAC 2022-23 list with a heave of 14.74m (47-5.75). He finished fourth in that event and now sits third all-time at Bridgewater in the event.

Seward, a sophomore from Ebony, Va., put together a strong showing in both track and field events at the Virginia Tech Challenge. In a field largely composed of Division I competitors, Seward finished 11th overall in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.92 seconds. That is the second-fast mark in Lynchburg history and ranks #1 in the ODAC this season. It is also rated 17th in NCAA Division III. Seward also competed in the triple jump, where she finished eighth overall at 11.67 meters (38-3.50). That mark is just off her season-best leap of 11.69 meters, which is second in the ODAC and ranks 12th in the country.

McLaughlin, a first-year from Salem, Va., competed in a pair of jumps at the JDL DMR Invitational hosted by JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. McLaughlin tightened her grip on the top mark in the ODAC in the high jump as she finished second overall in a mixed field of Division I and III athletes. Her leap of 1.60 meters (5-3.00) is a new Hollins program record and is new inches higher than the next closest competitor in the conference. That clearance also ranks 50th in Division III. McLaughlin also competed in the long jump and finished 15th overall at 4.39 meters (14-5.00) to mark her collegiate-best in the event.

O'Brien, a senior from Metuchen, N.J., put his name in the Roanoke record books following a strong showing at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. O'Brien competed in an otherwise all Division I athlete field in the 60-meter hurdles. He finished fifth in the prelims with a new school-record time of 8.34 seconds and then matched that mark in the finals to again place fifth. He ranks second in the event in the ODAC and 27th in NCAA Division III.

O'Connor, a senior from Henrico, Va., took the record he set last week in the pole vault and added bold typeface to his name by setting it against as part of his showing at the JDL DMR Invitational hosted by JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. O'Connor cleared 5.10 meters (16-8.75) to win the event and reset the ODAC and Washington and Lee records. That height is the highest of any clear pole vault mark in league history, indoors or outdoors. O'Connor also took to the high jump and placed third at 1.85 meters (6-0.75). That is the second-best mark in the ODAC and third time he has achieved it this season.

Coleman, a first-year from Warrenton, Va., made the most of her first collegiate meet with an event win and a fourth place finish in two sprints at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Coleman ran 8.02 seconds in the 60-meter dash prelims and then bettered that with a 7.93-second showing in the finals to win the event. Her finals time is not only tops in the ODAC, but ranks 14th in the NCAA Division III and third in Bridgewater program-history. Only former Eagles stars and national qualifiers Amber Celen and Emily Valle have run faster in the event. Coleman added a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash in 26.65-seconds, which ranks third in the ODAC and 35th in the country. It is also eighth-best in BC history.

Casto, a junior from Evington, Va., picks up her third weekly honor of the season after yet again improving upon a season-best ODAC mark among three events competed at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Casto improved upon her conference top clearance in the pole vault by eclipsing 3.42 meters (11-2.50) to win the event. That ranked fourth in Lynchburg program history and stands 10th in NCAA Division III. Casto also competed in the 400-meter dash and 4x400-meter relay. She finished sixth in the 400-dash in a new personal-best time of 1:02.85, which ranks fourth in the ODAC. She helped the Hornets to second in the 4x4-relay in 4:14.00, which tops the ODAC chart.

Alderfer, a junior from Broadway, Va., continued his strong season in the mid-distance events at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Alderfer improved upon his ODAC-best time in the 800-meter run by winning the event in 1:54.76. That time broke his own Eastern Mennonite program record by 0.21-seconds from his final run in 2020 season. That time also improved his position to eighth on the NCAA Division III season chart. Alderfer competed in the 3,000-meter run for the first time in his collegiate career, placing fourth overall and second in Royals history at 8:54.45. That time sits sixth in the ODAC this season.

Rosenthal, a senior from Chesapeake, Va., moved the ODAC triple jump charts after a strong showing at the Finn Pincus Invitational hosted by Roanoke College. Rosenthal won the event with a leap of 13.63 meters (44-8.75). That mark, which out-paced second place by more than three feet, is second-best in the ODAC and ranks 21st in NCAA Division III. He was one of only two ODAC male competitors in field events to capture a top-two conference mark at the meet.

O'Connor, a sophomore from Henrico, Va., picks up his second weekly honor of the indoor season with a strong three-event performance at the JDL DMR Invitational. O'Connor finished second in the pole vault with an ODAC-best 4.80 meters (15-9.00) cleared. That broke his own Washington and Lee record and is currently tied for 14th in NCAA Division III. O'Connor added a sixth place finish in the high jump at 1.82 meters and qualified sixth in the 60-meter hurdles at 8.65-seconds, but did not start in the finals.

Gmurek, a senior from Parkton, Md., put together a stellar effort in the 800-meter run at the STEEMER Showcase hosted by Wittenberg University. Gmurek crossed the finish line third overall at 1:53.99, which is second-fastest in Lynchburg history. When is time is converted for ODAC and NCAA rankings due to track banking and/or size, his time shows as 1:55.62. That is tops in the ODAC and tied for 41st in Division III.

Lane, a sophomore from Portsmouth, Va., put together a strong two-event performance at the JDL DMR Invitational over the weekend. Lane finished second overall in the triple jump with a new personal-best leap of 11.22 meters (36-9.75). That not only tops the ODAC season chart, but ranks 48th in the country. Lane also took a turn in the 60-meter dash, posting a time of 7.99-seconds to place sixth overall. That is 0.04-seconds off her previous season-best mark.

Lacy, a junior from Bremo Bluff, Va., picks up her second weekly honor of the indoor season after a strong two-event showing at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. Lacy finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.95-seconds. That was the second time she reset her program record on the day as she posted a time of 8.96-seconds in the prelims. She has rewritten that record five times total this year. Lacy's mark is tops in the ODAC and currently sits tied for 14th in the country. Lacy also took a turn in the 60-meter dash, posting a new personal-best time of 8.28-seconds.

Harlan, a sophomore from Woonsocket, R.I., improved upon her high national ranking in the 60-meter dash at the Virginia Tech Invitational. The 2018 national runner-up in the event posted the third-fastest time in NCAA Division III over the weekend as she finished fifth overall and first among Division III competitors in the event at 0:07.69. That improved her previous ODAC season-best time by 0.05 seconds. Harlan actually beat her previous time twice in Blacksburg as she ran a 0:07.70 in the prelims.

Patrick, a senior from Baton Rouge, La., took 14th out of 37 athletes in the mile at the JDL DMR Invitational on Saturday. Facing mostly Division I competition, he was the top Division III runner. He crossed the finish line in a career-best time of 4:25.56, which is the second-fastest time in the ODAC this year.

Briggs, a senior from Marion, Va., continues to build her way up to a possible second-straight berth to the NCAA championship field in the high jump after a strong showing at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. Briggs improved upon her ODAC best-mark in the event, eclipsing 1.65 meters (5-5.00) to finish second overall on attempts and first among Division III competitors. Her new mark ranks 15th in the country and sits 0.06 meters better than the next closest ODAC competitor.

Greenberg, a first-year from Allen, Texas, competed in a pair of jumps at the Susquehanna Invitational in preparation for the upcoming ODAC Championships. Greenberg broke the Washington and Lee record and took over the top spot in the ODAC in the long jump with a leap of 6.94 meters (22-9.25) to win the event. That mark ranks 33rd in NCAA Division III. It snapped the record of 6.87 meters (22-6.50) set by Chris Sullivan in 2000. Greenberg also won the triple jump with a leap of 13.35 meters (43-9.75).

Celen, a senior from Townsend, Del., looks prepared for the ODAC Indoor Track Championships after a stellar showing at the UCS Invitational. The multi All-American posted the second fastest time in the 200-meter dash in NCAA Division III, winning the event in 24.79 seconds to top the ODAC chart. She also ran the 60-meter dash, posting a time of 7.78 seconds in the prelims and 7.82 to finish sixth in the finals. Her 7.78 time is 0.01 off her season-best. Celen added a leap of 5.72 meters (18-9.25) in the long jump, an event for which she is already #2 in the country and tops in the ODAC (5.81m; 19-0.75).

Baxter, a sophomore from Hampton, N.H., continued her trend of increasing her pole vault marks and looks ready for ODAC championship competition after a strong showing at the Roanoke Tune Up. Baxter reset her own school-record in the pole vault after clearing 3.51 meters (11-6.25). That won the event and puts her a full foot in front of second place on the conference chart. That mark ranks 34th in NCAA Division III.

Faint, a senior from Winchester, Va., put together a pair of ODAC top-five times in the sprints at the Roanoke Tune Up. Faint put himself in the conversation for a national bid in the 400-meter dash a personal-best 49.45 time to finish second overall and tops among NCAA Division III competitors. That time is #1 in the ODAC rankings and 15th in the country. He also ran the 200-meter dash, finishing eighth overall in 22.88 seconds. That time moved into fifth on the conference chart.

Sims, a sophomore from Charleston, W.Va., put together a second straight stellar showing in the pole vault at the Roanoke Tune Up. Sims cleared 4.60 meters (15-1.00) to win the event and snap a Washington and Lee record (4.59m) that was established by Phillip Sampson in 1989. Sims' mark ranks 35th in NCAA Division III increases his conference lead to 0.50 meters entering the ODAC Championships this coming weekend.

Celen, a junior from Townsend, Del., put together arguably the greatest single-meet performance in conference history on Saturday at the UCS Invitational at JDL Fast Track. Celen set not just one but two ODAC records in the 60-meter and 200-meter dashes, further strengthening her grasp on the #1 position in NCAA Division III in the 60-dash and taking over the top spot in the 200-dash. She won the 200-dash with at ime of 0:24.56 and placed third overall in 60-dash at 0:07.63, but it was her prelim time of 0:07.60 that put her atop the national ranks. Both her final and prelim times would have broken her previous ODAC record (0:07.69). Celen also competed in the long jump, finishing second overall and first collegiately at 5.72 meters (18' 9.25"), which is second in the ODAC only to her previous season-best mark (5.82m).

Kittrell, a junior from Bedford, Va., put together a pair of ODAC top-five jumps at the UCS Invitational this weekend. Kittrell moved into second place in the ODAC in the triple jump after bounding 10.76 meters (35' 3.75") to finish third overall and first among NCAA Division III competition. She also reached 4.94 meters (16' 2.5") in the long jump, finishing 12th overall and third D-III. The 4.94 meters is just short of her already ODAC fourth-rated mark this season.

Thibodeaux, a senior from Mount Sidney, Va., posted a blistering time in the 3,000-meter run at the UCS Invitational. Thibodeaux won the event with a time of 8:32.62, breaking his own school-record and taking over the top spot in the ODAC by nearly eight-seconds. The mark is 11-seconds quicker than his previous personal-best and currently ranks 30th in NCAA Division III.

Griffey, a junior from Mechanicsville, Va., improved his stock in the shot put at the Virginia Tech Challenge over the weekend. Griffey tossed the shot 13.74 meters (45' 1.0") to finish fourth overall and first among NCAA Division III competitors. He is now ranked fourth in the ODAC heading into this coming weekend's championships.

Celen, a sophomore from Townsend, Del., broke a pair of ODAC sprint records that had stood for nearly eight years. At the UCS Invitational, Celen finished eighth overall in the 60-meter dash with a time of 0:07.75, breaking the record held by Roanoke's Robin Yerkes by 0.01 seconds. She also snapped Yerkes' record of 0:25.31 in the 200-meter dash with a time of 0:25.23. Both of Celen's marks are tops in the ODAC this season. Her 200m time ranks second in NCAA Division III, while her 60m time chimes in 11th.

Alfaro, a senior from Toms River, N.J., continues to throw the weight at a high level. She tossed that apparatus 15.89 meters at the VT Challenge, good enough for a 10th-place finish in the mixed field. That throw is bettered only by her previous ODAC-best toss of 16.16 meters.

Gunther, a senior from Chesterfield, Va., put together a strong showing at the UCS Invitational. He placed seventh overall on the way to setting a new school-record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.15. That time is tops in the ODAC by nearly 2.5-seconds and ranks 19th in NCAA Division III. Gunther also helped his teammates to another Bridgewater record in the 4x400-meter relay with a second-place time of 3:25.12. That mark ranks second in the ODAC.

Truman, a junior from Richmond, Va., re-upped on his previous long jump performances, increasing his grasp on the ODAC's best mark after competing at the Virginia Tech Challenge. His leap of 6.88 meters is 0.11 meters clear of the next closest ODAC competitor. It ranked seventh overall at the VT Challenge and currently sits 23rd in NCAA Division III. Truman also ran in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 0:23.15.

Chappell-Dick, a junior from Bluffton, Ohio, carved her name into the ODAC and Eastern Mennonite record books after a strong day at the UCS Invitational hosted at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. Chappell-Dick placed sixth overall and tops among NCAA Division III competition in the mile run, eclipsing the 5:00-mark for the first time in her career with at 4:56.37. The time snapped her own EMU record of 5:05.65 set earlier this season. He also reset the ODAC standard of 4:58.17 set by former Roanoke College All-American, Carmen Graves, in 2013. Chappell-Dick's time is currently fourth in the nation. She's one of only 12 runners in D-III to run a sub-5:00 mile this season.

McDonald, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., etched his name into both the Washington and Lee and ODAC record books after his performance at the UCS Invitational hosted at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. McDonald was the top collegiate finisher in the mile run and third overall, posting a time of 4:12.51. That topped McDonald's previous W&L record of 4:15.24, and also eclipsed the ODAC standard of 4:14.25 set by former Lynchburg College All-American Ricky Flynn in 2009. McDonald's time is tops in the ODAC this season and ninth in NCAA Division III.

Mohlmann, a senior from Annandale, Va., earns her second weekly honor after placing third overall and first among NCAA Division III competition in the pentathlon at the Navy Sweetheart Multi-Mix. She set new SU records in the high jump, long jump and pentathlon points, collecting 3,464 to the latter. That point total is fourth in NCAA Division III. She finished third in the 60-meter hurdles (8.82), high jump (1.64m; 5' 4.5") and 800-meter run (2:24.87). She was fourth in the long jump (5.18m; 17' 0.0") and 10th in the shot put (9.69m; 31' 9.5").

McDonald, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., etched his name into the Generals' record-book by setting a new school-standard in the 800-meter run at the Susquehanna Invitational. McDonald finished fourth overall with a time of 1:5714. It marks the third-fastest time in the ODAC this season. He already owns ODAC top times in the mile, 3,000-meter and 5,000-meter runs.

Alfaro, a sophomore from Toms River, N.J., put together a strong day in the throws at the Lynchburg Sprints, Jumps and Throws Challenge. She won the both the shot put and the weight throw events, posting the ODAC's seasonal best mark in the latter. She heaved the weight 49' 11.25", which ranks 50th in the country. She tossed the shot 38' 9", second only to her throw of 39' 1" earlier this season.

Jeong, a junior from Federal Way, Wash., put together a school record-breaking day at the Kent State Tune-Up over the weekend. Jeong put his name atop the ODAC seasonal charts in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.91 seconds. He finished sixth overall and first among NCAA Division III competitors in an event field that featured athletes from all three NCAA divisions. Jeong's time, which ranks 14th in the country, also bested his own school record, which was set at 7.02 seconds. In addition to the 60-dash, Jeong also competed in in the 200-meter dash, posting a time of 23.24 seconds.

Mohlmann, a junior from Annandale, Va., won and set a school record in the Pentathlon at the Bomber Invitational. She racked up 3,249 points, which included a win in the 800-meter run. Her time of 2:22.89 in the 800-run sits second in the ODAC. Outside of the pentatlon, she compted in the 400-meter dash and a set a school record with a time of 1:03.44.

Toney, a sophomore from Roanoke, Va., took over the top spot on the ODAC seasonal top times chart in the mile run at the UCS Invitational hosted at JDL Fastrack. His time of 4:22.31 was good enough for 20th overall and tops among NCAA Division III competition in the race.

Theall, a senior from Blossvale, N.Y., was named the Athlete of the Meet after winning the shot put and weight throw competitions at the 2013 Mason-Dixon Indoor Championships. Theall fired the shot put 11.54 meters (37' 10.5") to take over the second spot on the ODAC's season-best list. She then heaved the weight at 15.24 meters (50' 00"), coming up eight inches short of the conference's top mark, which she already owns.

Lott, a junior from Virginia Beach, Va., won the 60-meter dash at the 2013 Mason-Dixon Indoor Championships with a time of 6.98, tying the ODAC top time he established earlier this season. Lott also placed fifth in the 200-meter dash with a VWC record time of 22.86, breaking the former record of 22.88 set by Jason Taylor in 2009. That stands as the fastest time in the ODAC this season. Lott also ran a leg on the 4x400-meter relay team that finished second with a VWC record time of 3:27.31, breaking the former mark of 3:28.31. That time is second-best in the ODAC and qualified the Marlins for the Penn Relays.

Janney, a freshman from Daleville, Va., won a pair of individual events and was part of the Maroons' winning 4x400-meter relay team at the Susquehanna Invitational hosted by Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa. In the 200-meter dash, Janney set a new ODAC top time by crossing the line in 26.75 seconds. She added a win in the 60-meter dash with a time of 8.13 seconds, third-best in the conference. Janney was joined by teammates Alease Kinney, Jessica Mejia, and Carmen Graves in posting a time of 4:03.02 to win the 4x400-meter relay

Sippie, a freshman from Toms River, N.J., put together a pair of solid performances at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games at The Armory in New York City. Sippie record a pair of ODAC season-best times while placing in the top-five amongst NCAA Division III competition. In the 200-meter dash, he posted a time of 22.95 seconds to finish 10th overall and third amongst D-III runners. He followed that with a time of 50.70 seconds in the 400-meter dash, placing sixth overall and second versus D-III competitors.

Van Dunk, a junior from Mahwah, N.J., won the shot put with a career-best toss of 49'11.75", which puts him second in the ODAC. He also took fourth in the weight throw with a heave of 38’06.75” at the VMI Relays.

Hubbard, a junior from Madison Heights, Va., won the triple jump and the long jump competitions on Saturday at the VMI Winter Relays. Hubbard jumped 36'7" in the triple jump and 17'9.5" in the long jump. She currently sits 23rd in the nation in the triple jump and 27th in the long jump. Hubbard also finished second in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.60. Hubbard sits atop the ODAC in the long jump and triple jump standings after her performances on Saturday.

Penick, a junior from Amherst, Va., moved into second place all-time at Lynchburg in the shot put as she heaved the apparatus 12.56 meters (41' 2.5") on Friday night at Liberty in the LU Quad Meet. She mark is #1 in the ODAC this season. She currently ranks 30th in NCAA Division III.

Tallman, a sophomore from Grand Blanc, Mich., broke two school records at the Bucknell Winter Classic on Saturday. He finished first overall in the 400-meter dash with a new school standard of 49.06, crushing his own record of 49.96 that he set last year. His 49.06 is also currently the third fastest time in NCAA Division III and the fastest mark in the ODAC this season. Tallman also finished third overall and first among Division III competitors in the 200-meter dash with a school-record time of 22.31, eclipsing the old mark of 22.78. That time is also a new season-best standard for the conference.

Lott, a freshman from Virginia Beach, Va., turned in an excellent effort in the 55-meter dash at the Mason-Dixon Conference championships at Christopher Newport University. He broke VWC’s record in the event three times in the meet en route to finishing as the Mason-Dixon champion in the event. He started it in the prelims with a time of 6.60, breaking the previous VWC record of 6.86 set by Josh Smith in 2006. He broke his own record in the semifinals with a time of 6.55 and then topped that in the finals with a championship time of 6.51. He also placed 11th in the 200-meter dash (23.67).

Garber, a freshman from Canby, Ore., won the triple jump Saturday at the DuCharme Invitational and also took over the top spot in the ODAC in process. Her distance of 10.92m (35-10.0) won the triple jump over W&L’s Marissa Thompson (10.63m). It was a personal best for Garber as she has improved her distance in each of her four collegiate meets.

The Washington and Lee men's indoor track 4x400-meter relay team, comprised of senior Tyler Grant, sophomore Steven Colliau, and freshmen Zander Tallman and Dillon Myers, posted the 12th-best time in the country at the Lafayette/Rider Winter Games over the weekend. The Generals clicked the tape in 3:21.81 to place first overall, set a new ODAC season top-time and break the previous W&L record of 3:25.93. For NCAA qualification, the time was converted due to track size to 3:23.81, 4.37 seconds quicker than the next fastest time in the ODAC this year.

Graves, a sophomore from Christiansburg, Va., competed in five events at the Vince Brown Invitational. She set a new Roanoke record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:20.25, which is 4.19 seconds faster than any time in the ODAC this season. She placed third overall and second in D-III ranks in the event. Her leap of 16'1" in the long jump was 16th overall, but third amongst D-III competitors. She also competed in the triple jump, posting a mark of 34'4.25" to place seventh overall and second in D-III competition. She finished by running a leg on the Maroons' 4x400-meter relay team, helping RC to a program season-best time of 4:14.83.
