Kleinlein, a sophomore from Chesterfield, Mo., helped the
Generals start off with two victories to win the Gettysburg Classic
Title. Kleinlein earned MVP honors for his performance, which
including the game-winning shot to defeat the host Bullets in
double-overtime. He sunk the deciding bucket with
four-seconds to play in the second extra frame, finished with 13
points, six boards and three assists in the 76-74 triumph. In
the first game, a 72-65 win over Hood, Kleinlein scored 19 points
with three rebounds and a apir of assists. He was 5-of-9 from
three-point territory and 4-of-4 from the free throw line.
Overall, Kleinlein shot 60.0-percent (9-of-15) from the field
including 7-of-11 (63.6%) from downtown. He was also 7-for-7
from the stripe.
