Kasey Draper, Roanoke, Jr., Guard/Forward

Draper, a junior from Roanoke, Va., was named the MVP of the Dick Leftwich Tip-Off Tournament hosted by Roanoke College after leading the nationally 20th-ranked Maroons to a pair of victories. Draper opened with 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting in an 85-58 win over Eastern University. He added five rebounds and a steal. Draper then tied a career-high with 31 points in Roanoke's 77-68 victory over third-ranked Marietta College. He was 11-of-18 from the field and 7-of-8 from the line. He added eight rebounds and a pair of steals to his line. These were the first two games of the season for the Maroons, leaving Draper with averages of 28.0 points and 6.5 rebounds while shooting 63.6-percent (21-of-33) from the field.
