Jack Hodgson, Washington and Lee, So., Face-Off Specialist

Hodgson, a sophomore from Richmond, Va., played a pivotal in a nationally-ranked matchup with Roanoke College. Hodgson took all 25 face-offs for Washington and Lee and won 20-of-25 showdowns to help the Generals to an 11-10 comeback victory at home. Hodgson was perfect in the fourth quarter, winning all five face-offs and was 9-of-11 for the second half as the Generals outscored the Maroons, 8-1, over the final 30 minutes of play. Hodgson also picked up a game-high 13 ground balls. For the season, Hodgson leads the ODAC with 134 face-off wins (134-of-212; .632) and is second with 52 ground balls.

Men's Lacrosse Honor Roll

Blake Mann, BC: scored three times including the eventual game-decider with 9:12 to play in the Eaglers 12-11 win at Virginia Wesleyan.

Zach Berkowitz, GC: scored three times and picked up a ground ball in the Quakers 10-4 win over Shenandoah. GC's winning streak is now at seven games, its longest since 1986.

Evan Lombardo, LC: registered four goals and a ground bal in the Hornets 14-6 victory over Randolph-Macon. Three of his goals came in the second quarter.
