Spanninger, a junior from Horsham, Pa., helped LC pick up two conference wins this week. He assisted on the game-winning tally Wednesday in a 2-1 win at Randolph. He netted the game-winner and assisted on the insurance goal on Saturday in a 3-1 victory over Bridgewater College in LC’s Homecoming game to keep LC atop the ODAC standings. The points were the first of the season for Spanninger.

Midfielder
Castellanos scored the game-winning goal in the
83rd minute of Guilford’s 2-1 ODAC win at Eastern
Mennonite… the tally marked his third of the season, all of
which have been game-winning goals.
John Robert Plyler, Hampden-Sydney College, Senior,
Goalkeeper
Plyler posted a goals-against-average of 0.99 and a save
percentage of .882 (15 saves) with one shutout in a 1-1 week.
Recorded a shutout in 92:36 of playing time against W&L and
tallied a career-tying-high nine saves. Posted six saves in a 2-0
loss against Virginia Wesleyan.
Tim Songer, Randolph College, Junior, Midfielder
Songer scored his second goal of the season on Wednesday
against Lynchburg in a 2-1 loss to the Hornets. The goal, a
full volley strike from near the top of the box, was caught on
video and has been featured on the ODAC website. You can view

Michael Stark, Roanoke College, Senior, Defender
Stark scored a goal and had two assists in two ODAC
victories this week. He scored a goal and had an assist in
the 5-0 win over Bridgewater. Against Virginia Wesleyan,
Stark had an assist to take the lead in the first half in a 2-1 win
over the Marlins on the road.
