Christopher Fisher, Roanoke, Sr., Forward
November 03, 2014Fisher, a senior from Morehead City, N.C., notched a pair of game-winning goals to propel Roanoke to two wins against conference competition last week. In the regular season finale against Guilford, Fisher found the back of the net for the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over the Quakers. He repeated the effort in the Maroons quarterfinal against Eastern Mennonite, scoring in the 50th minute to give RC a 1-0 win and a date in the semifinals with fifth-seeded Washington and Lee. The goals were the first two for Fisher this season. -
Marc Dinkel, Roanoke, Sr., Midfielder
October 27, 2014Dinkel, a senior from Basel, Switzerland, helped the Maroons to a pair of ODAC wins last week, contributing to each of Roanoke's three combined goals. On Tuesday at Lynchburg, he assisted on the only goal of the game in RC's 1-0 win in a contest that then featured the top two teams in the ODAC standings. Over the weekend in a 2-0 win over Washington and Lee, Dinkel scored the first goal of the game and then assisted on the insurance tally. That win put Roanoke six points clear of second place in the league table with one game left to play for each squad. Dinkel currently leads the ODAC in points (31), goals scored (11) and assists (9).

Troy Jurney, Randolph, So., Midfielder
October 20, 2014Jurney, a sophomore from Camp Lejeune, N.C., put together an eight-point week as the WildCats went 1-1 in league play. He opened the week by contributing to all four goals in Randolph's 4-0 win over Randolph-Macon. He scored three times, notching only the third hat-trick in program history, and added an assist to to tie the WildCats' single-game record of seven points. Later in the week in a 2-1 loss at Virginia Wesleyan, Jurney assisted on Randolph's goal. For the season, Jurney has racked up 11 points on four goals and three assists.

Chris Cooke, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., Forward
October 13, 2014Cooke, a senior from Hampton, Va., helped lead the Marlins to a 2-0 week in ODAC competition. He opened his week by finding the back of the net from 15 yards out in the 69th minute against Randolph-Macon, scoring what would be the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win. He followed with two goals in a road win at Shenandoah, bookending the Marlins output in a 3-1 triumph. Cooke has now scored four goals with one assist on the season.

Marc Dinkel, Roanoke, Jr., Midfielder
October 06, 2014Dinkel, a junior from Basel, Switzerland, had a hand in all three goals in the Maroons 3-1 victory over Bridgewater College, helping Roanoke to a 1-0-1 week. Dinkel assisted on the game's opening goal and then helped put RC back in front in the second half with his second assist. He capped the games scored with a 20-yard free kick from his prefer left foot to the near post. Roanoke went on to tie Virginia Wesleyan College, 0-0, on Friday evening, keeping the Maroons undefeated in conference play and atop the ODAC standings at 4-0-1 (7-2-2 overall). Dinkel leads the ODAC in points (20) and goals scored (7), and is tied for tops in assists (6).

Max Chacon, Bridgewater, So., Forward
September 29, 2014Chacon, a sophomore from Woodbridge, Va., helped the Eagles to a pair of wins last week, including their third conference win in as many games. In a 2-1 victory over Southern Virginia on Tuesday, Chacon netted the would-be game-winner in the 34th minute. He followed that up on Saturday by playing a part in three of BC's four goals in a 4-0 victory against Emory & Henry. Chacon scored the first and third goals of the game in the 22nd and 45th minute, and added an assist on the Eagles second tally. For the season, Chacon is tied for second in the ODAC with five goals scored and tied for fourth with 11 points.

Isaac Arrington, Virginia Wesleyan, Sr., Forward
September 22, 2014Arrington, a senior from DeSoto, Texas, helped the Marlins to a 2-0 week by registered seven total points. He opened with both goals in a 2-1 victory at Wesley College on Wednesday. He continued his hot streak at Washington and Lee, scoring the Marlins first goal and assisting Josh Kemp on the game-winner in the Marlins' 2-1 win over the Generals. Arrington is tied for second in the ODAC with 10 points and tied for first with four assists. All of his points have come in the last three games, all VWC victories.

Rob Sandidge, Guilford, Sr., Forward
September 15, 2014Sandidge, a senior from Sandford, N.C., helped the Quakers to a 1-1 week that included a win in its ODAC opener over previously unbeaten Washington and Lee University. Sandidge recorded the second two-goal game of his career against the Generals as his tallies in the ninth and 34th minutes proved the difference in Guilford's 2-1 victory. The two goals against W&L were the first of the season for Sandidge.

C.J. Stevens, Randolph, Jr., Goalkeeper
September 08, 2014Stevens, a junior from Mechanicsville, Va., helped the WildCats to a pair of wins at the Tiger/WildCat Classic, earning MVP honors in the process. Randolph's shot-stopper proved just that in a 1-0 win over Penn St.-Abington as he saved a penalty kick in the 80th minute to preserve the WildCats lead and eventual victory. He made two overall saves in that contest. Stevenson followed up that effort with six saves in a 5-0 victory over Marymount (Va.). Thru four games played, Stevens leads all ODAC keepers with a 0.26 goals-against-average and a .941 save percentage, having allowed only one goal this season.

Luke Moore, Lynchburg, Sr., Forward
September 02, 2014Moore, a senior from Richmond, Va., led Lynchburg to a pair of victories at the season-opening Roanoke Invitational. He started off with one goal and an assist in a 4-1 triumph over Averett University. He followed that the next day with both goals in a 2-0 victory over Case Western Reserve University. A two-time All-ODAC First Team selection, Moore leads all players in the early going with seven total points.
